    The use of little kids and hot women probably works best. I remember when I was younger Dawson and George Bell both ignored me nonstop however my little sisters when up to both of them and they signed right away. We were staying at the same hotel as them so had repeated access to them.

    ha, what's the origin of "McHead". good for him on being captain. fulham usa. Not 100% sure, but probably mixing his name with his expertise on aerial balls. That's it. From FFC's official page Hasn't McBride been voted as the best player on Fulham by his teammates several times? He has done very well for them, and probably deserves it.

    Good thing Kendell started to hit, otherwise he might be batting 9th tonight. For whatever reason I expect Marquis to have a good game at the plate. Pitching is a whole different story. Actually hopefully he lasts long enough to collect an ab.

    i didn't know you could either. when you first pick your team, by default it gives you a 4-4-2. i was skimming the rules for scoring, etc. and then it said you can change formations. my 3-5-2 utilizes my strength in the midfield, and softens my weakness in defense (especially with terry out at least a month). Me neither, damn have to make changes now.

    wow, 26,000 compared to 3,800 yesterday. Can't really imagine a grass roots voting movement to get Elinore through Well, I know that Elinore was supported by Fark.com and Desipio...so it depends if we went more nuts than they did. ooh, yeah, that's stiff competition. Fark.com people are nuts That might be an understatement.

    Everyone knows what's wrong with him. He has a knee injury that he says won't be 100 percent until at least the offseason. The organization made a plan for him that involved regular days off, and they've stuck to that. Exactamundo. Knee injuries are a bitch. I hurt my knee two years ago and it still gives me all kinds of problems on very random days.

    I bet GM's enjoyed the day when message boards and even the internet didn't exist. So many horrible rumors come out everyday that make absolutly no sense.

    Maybe that's because he isn't a big leaguer at this point. You try and find me one other team trying to make the playoffs running that asshat out there everyday. You mean like the Dodgers running Juan Pierre out there everyday, or the Tigers running out Craig Monroe out everyday? I would hope that Pierre has that contract framed and above his bed. Its not everyday that someone wins the lottery for sucking.

    Even if Jones is traded next offseason like I assume he will (his contract is a bargin now ;-) ), I think Quentin will become the 2nd coming of Matt Murton. If you can get him cheap then great and why not.

    It would be nice to go into the Hex with an in-form DMB. EDIT: Is he still the only American player to score in Champions League play? Did John O'Brien never get a goal with Ajax?

    Was a decision made? Nothing official yet, no. I still think it will be Pie and the E-Patt blurb was just a snafu. Either way, I am wondering if they will even be available for tonights game. Hopefully a decision has already been made and the press just doesn't know it yet.

    They might lose there female demographic if they do that. All six of them will understand. It just makes them look stupid. I can only imagine what is going to happen when he actually plays a full 90. I almost wonder if Galaxy fans feel like we did several years ago with Wood and Prior. Although I actually think Beckham will play soon and be very productive for them.

    I don't think anyone thinks it's an issue of the new owner not wanting Z. Thats the only thing I don't really understand. His contract regardless of size should have no bearing on a new owner.

    I took it as that Tejada had been placed on waivers and that he had no confirmation as to if he had cleared yet.

    I've always liked it because it meant the start of the Premiership was close :-).
