I agree about Tech. They're going to be good enough to beat anyone on any day, but I haven't seen anything from them that would lead me to believe they can play defense consistently enough to challenge for the Conference title(of course, you could've said the same thing about Mizzou before last season). As far as Mizzou goes, they don't draw the toughest part of the south(Texas, Baylor, OSU), but they still have 3 non-home games against ranked teams(@Texas, Kansas and Illinois at neutral sites), plus they haven't won in Lincoln since we landed on the moon or something. They've still got to be favorites for the North though, as they didn't lose much from the best team last year, and their best competition both have rough schedules(KU plays Texas, OU, and Texas Tech; Colorado has a brutal non-con, and has to travel to KU and Mizzou). I kind of disagree on Tech simply because I think one of these years they are going to put it all together for a good period during the season. They always have that one great game every year, just a matter of doing it for an extended period of time. They should be better than last season. If they can even win the South though, that will be tough enough for them. I don't know if I really see two teams from the South making BCS games this year with Mizzou on the other side.
