I don't fear them either, but I'd rather avoid them than Slovakia/Slovenia/Switzerland/Greece. I suppose as long as they avoid Portugal, it's not bad. EDIT: And the draw is starting...now! EDIT 2: Never mind, ESPN lied and it doesn't start for 45 minutes. I wonder when the actual draw starts. Mostly curious to what will be going on in 80 minutes when I leave for lunch and if I can catch any of it on tv.

Its almost time. I am nervous and excited, and expecting the worst. Here is the order of teams I want: South Africa Italy Argentina Germany Spain England Holland Brazil And avoid Portugal in Pool 4.

England-Mexico-France-Ivory Coast would do well to hose France and Mexico. Works for me. Ivory Coast and Algeria both don't like France, but Algeria *really* doesn't like France. I wish we could hose Italy, France, and Mexico all at the same time. Works for me, too. Italy-Mexico-Ivory Coast-France would be a seriously nasty group, dontcha think? Got to cheer for France in that scenario, but it would be fun to watch. Mexico would probably beat Italy who would finish last.

No it's not. They've already come out and said they are sticking by him That was before today's developments wasn't it? Michael Phelps lost a few endorsers after he was seen doing pot. I still think Tiger will lose a few endorsers too. Phelps is no where close to as important as Tiger is as an endorser.

The rules are different for every World Cup. It would seem that FIFA basically has in their minds who the strongest teams are, and will find a set of numbers that agree with their estimations to announce the seeds. This year, they absolutely didn't want to have to deal with the backlash of seeding France after the controversial playoff (where they were clearly outplayed), and they likely considered Holland a better team (which they are, by a lot). There will also be no extra officals at the WC this summer. Not sure why it would have been so difficult to incorporate that now when its going to happen eventually anyways. Someone's going to get screwed on a call, I just hope its Mexico.

That is what I meant by road beef shenanigans. Ha, missed that. On the radio this morning they had a voicemail that USWeekly was claiming from Tiger telling one of the girls that his wife went through his phone and found her number and asking her to delete some stuff. It was pretty funny.

The alternative was France, which would currently have been a PR disaster? I think it's a damage control move. That said, I'm quite happy with Oranje being seeded. They'll go nuts again across the northern border here. 8-) Awesome, I love it.

There's nothing clearly wrong with Kelly. But Stoops would be a home-run hire as opposed to Kelly's solid down-the-line double. JMO. Was Urban Meyer a solid down-the-line double for Florida? Was Dan Hawkins for Colorado? Was Steve Kragthorpe for Louisville? Those were both a Neifi Perez reached base on an error hire's.

There is one person. You and that one person might be the only ones on this board pulling for BAMA. Or at least if you were smart you'd pull for them in your situation. I am pulling for them which is probably why I have felt sick to my stomach this week. I guess you could say I am pulling for them as little as I possibly can and I still think Florida wins by 2 td's. If Tebow breaks his leg during the game I will then switch over and pull for Florida.

It was a horrible missed call by the AR, who should have been in position to see it, and absolutely highlighted the need for an official behind each goal. A replay was not permissible per the rules of the game, which I get, and bad calls happen all the time (the US, mind you, got hosed in 2002 when Frings handled a ball on the goal line). It sucked for Ireland, who were the better team on the night and deserved at least a shot at penalties. Henry should face a 3 match ban for handling the ball with intent, which is exactly what he did if you watch the replay. FIFA suck for changing the way the Euro qualifiers would be seeded, favoring the larger nations. Also get the feeling that if it happened against a different country we could have seen a different outcome.

He should go. I don't think we will see many prjected 1st round players stay, especially top 15 picks. If Clausen leaves he has no reason to stay at all.

I can't imagine him leaving TCU for Kansas just because he really likes living in the Ft Worth area. OU is a different story.

I think you should go after Charlie Weis ;-). he could wear all of mangino's old clothes imagine them on the same plane together. the stewardess would have to put one on each wing just to balance the weight distribution.
