  1. The refs will be quoting John Wall, "Thats what they pay me to do".

  3. They flat out sucked. The run defense was solid in the 1st half, but got exposed in the 2nd half because of how much the secondary was sucking. They were not ready for Johnson, who played out of his mind. His recievers were playing great too. If McCoy wins the Heisman he needs to thank his defense for sucking last night. Hopefully its a wake up call for the Nebraska game now, plus they have 10 days to prepare.
  4. I hope they are pathetic tomorrow.
  5. You would think the seniors would want to play 1 last game rather than end the season 6-6 if they lose this weekend.
  6. Chris Johnson is on pace for almost 2000 yards. He'll have to have another huge game or two (close to 200 yards huge) to reach it, but it's certainly possible. He promised all his offensive linemen new cars if he reaches 2,000. That Dec. 13 game in St. Louis looks like a good candidate. Yeah, and the Seattle game is a good bet for lots of yardage. The Titans may also run the ball a ton against Indy, thus giving him plenty of opportunity to pile up the yards. Vince Young at QB should help him as well. Less throws, run the option on occasion, and less focus on him in the backfield.
  7. Barnes was putting up some pretty sick numbers, but suddenly Alexander has just 71 less yards and 2 less TDs than him and Barnes has 37 more catches. It's going to be a travesty when Shipley wins the award because he goes to Texas. And Barnes has been putting up his numbers going through the MAC. He combined averaged 7 catches for 47 yards against the two legit teams BG has played(Boise State and Mizzou). Shipley's special teams probably gives him a boost even though it shouldn't for this award. enough to get over Tate? ND flopped this year, but Tate's a human highlight film. it's too bad he runs crap routes or he might be truly dominant. I was mentioning Shipley more so for making the Finalist list not for winning the award. Shipley and Tate are almost identical recievers. Tate is more the spectacular, Shipley is one of the best route runners in college football. Both are undersized and have great speed. Neither one has a great case over the other to win the award, its pretty much a push or slight edge to Tate. Texas has 2 games left, ND has one so that could push Shipley over Tate.
  8. As long as Florida and Bama go undefeated the SEC officals have done their job.

  10. That was the national championship winning play to the left.
  11. I love seeing all Houston teams lose.
  12. That's all he can ask for. That missed FG is looking huge right now, and the Titans almost had 3 int's this quarter. Instead they have had poor field position.
  13. He's looked real good. I'm impressed with the how they have used him too. It's really looked like a college qb in a college game when he's run, very easy for him He's always wanted to be a pocket passer, but he's always been very good at knowing where to run. That and he's always thrown a better ball on the run. Plus he freezes the D when he is outside the pocket.

  15. I think they should be in the championship game whether Texas loses or not. I think they have a very legit chance against Florida, Bama, or Texas. I hope they play the SEC loser just to see how they stack up.
  16. I would [expletive] my pants for that.
  17. If you were the GM for the Thunder would you give up some of your young pieces and who? obviously russ has to go in CP3 comes this way. Would have to be something like russ, an expiring, our 2 firsts this year and something else I guess. I don't know, I cant imagine how to make it match up Would you do that with an extention?
  18. Agreed. But they are in the top 14 of the BCS and the Fiesta could feel some pressure to take a Big 12 replacement for Texas since they have the Big 12 tie-in. If it were about who "deserved" it more, no one would even be considering PSU over Iowa. And Kansas wouldn't have been picked over Missouri a couple years ago. Yes, everyone understands the most deserving teams don't always go. That's not exactly a revelation. At least Kansas won that BCS game.

  20. I would not be the least bit surprised and it will happen again in the future. I could easily see this happening in some of the smaller countries, not to mention this happening in Belguim a couple of years ago. Germany however does come as a surprise to me though. Then again they were awarded the 2006 cup on what was believed to have been a bribe.
  21. Ricky Williams is going to make a lot of fantasy owners very happy the last 7 weeks of the season.
  22. Henry backs having a replay as the "fairest solution". This is going to get a little more ugly before it goes away with FIFA's decision to alerady deny a replay. I'm surprised at the national coverage this is getting in the US.
  23. If the roles were reversed and it was Ireland who went through knocking out France do you think FIFA would be more likely to have a replay?
  24. I haven't seen it yet. Would Maradona be proud of it? Definitely not that obvious, but it should have been called. If it doesn't hit his hand, it goes out of bounds for a goal kick. So does this put France in the last seed and bump Portugal?
