  1. I think you should go after Charlie Weis ;-).
  2. I'm really curious to see what Tiger was pulling in on the side, she must have been unreal.
  3. Didn't Leach turn down Tennesssee last year or was he never actually offered. But why go to Louisville after turning down that job the previous year?
  4. No worries, Weis is white and arrogant so no one will run around trying to credit him for the next coach's success (if he has any). Stoops just said he'll be at Oklahoma next year, so that might be scuttled. espn.com mentioned Butch Davis.
  5. http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=4699907 I think you can say it's getting more serious for Elin. Yes, and if Elin is charged, then Tiger's dirty laundry probably gets aired out along with hers. They won't charge anyone with anything. Tiger or his wife must make the charge or the case will be dropped. I have no idea what happened, but If I was Tiger I'd just come out with it to get the TMZ type [expletive] to leave me the hell alone. Maybe he was texting while driving or something. Couldn't the state still press charges if either one of them failed to?
  6. The USC bandwagon is probably the most annoying around. While they aren't as good as they were in the early/mid 2000's when they had Bush, Leinhart, Palmer, etc. I still consider them and "elite" program. They will still continue to bring in 4-5 star recruits and have a solid coaching staff. They will still be a top 10 probably in pre-season polls next year and be favorites to win the PAC-10. Also I think USC's "fall," if that's what you want to consider it, over the last few years is more associated to Pac-10 teams on a whole improving more than it is USC getting worse. They have some great recruits lined up already, but the level of the Pac-10 is much improved. I think the constant coaching changes has caught up with them too. Its no longer a foregone conclussion that USC will win the Pac-10 in August.
  7. I'll gladly make my pick now if you want me too.
  8. and just in time for the dvd release of Bruno.

  10. Sorry about that, mostly for having to live in Alabama.
  11. If he somehow does get to 2000 yards, i dont know how you don't give it to him. For one, Peyton Manning. In all honesty, we're probably 0-11 right now without CJ. Yeah but the Colts could be 0-11 without Peyton Manning. Well probably not, but pretty close.
  12. What? Its not luck, its the Texans. The might be the best team at choking in the NFL.
  13. Wasn't that Keanu Reaves teams nickname in The Replacements? They were the Sentinels. So yeah, I guess it was. That was an awesome movie, by the way. It was, whatever happened to that hot cheerleader from it?
  14. Apparently you missed the long TD pass a little while ago. That was a pretty nice pass too.
  15. It wasn't sarcasm or a putdown, it was simply an opinion. But looking pass the surface of McCoy's numbers suggest he hasn't been as good as a Heisman candidate should. McCoy season breaks down in three ways: 1: He was really good against the mediocre or cupcakes teams (ULM, UTEP, Kansas, A&M, Coloardo and Wyoming). 2: He was solid, at best, against solid teams (Missouri, UCF, and Texas Tech, even tho you could agrue he was only workmanlike against Tech). 3: Yards wise, he had his two worst games against both OU and OSU, two teams that were good enough to win, but fail to do so. I'm sorry, but McCoy has been good, but not Heisman worthy. If Ingram doesn't get (which, unless he plays against Floirida and dominates them) the award I would prefer it going to somebody like Toby Gerhart who has been a much needed and better player then both Ingram AND McCoy. But unfortunately people are falling over themselves becuase of McCoy's performance against a pretty awful A&M defense, and he'll get the award because he's Colt McCoy and not because of performance. In fact McCoy hasn't even been the best QB in the nation, a certain Houston QB has been better. I like McCoy, but he isn't getting the aaward based on merit, but based on personality, and charm. In other words, IMO, the Heisman has become the Gold Glove award of college football. An award that in the end, don't really have that much meaning. Cause teams that have the Heisman winner often loses the National Championship, which will be a problem for Texas and Colt McCoy when they see Alabama in Pasadena. So when Alabama plays Auburn the rivalry changes everything, but when Texas plays A&M it doesn't count as much? Auburn's defense is bad just as is A&M, maybe not so much be they are very bad. I know your sad to see Ingram lose the Heisman after claiming he would be the 1st Alabama player to ever win it a couple of weeks ago. So McCoy went 12-0 because of his personality and charm? Keenum is not a finalist for any award so I guess they are all a joke. Everyone knows you would be signing a different tune if Ingram had a decent game or actually wins the award and stating he deserved to win it over Gerhart.
  16. why the quotation marks? I still think Suh ought to win it. He won't, but he should. He will win on draft day with his paycheck.
  17. I think Ingram's Heisman hopes are probably gone today.
  18. a field goal. I am guessing a missed field goal by Bama, but but Auburn is called for illegal use of hands on the play with Bama making the 2nd attempt.
  19. Alabama is going to win, I don't know how but they are.
  20. I don't think so just because if Alabama did lose, they would probably drop to 6th. If they beat Florida they would still have to jump three undefeateds in the human polls. If Alabama lost would you rank them ahead of Georgia Tech tomorrow? That's what I'm thinking but a lot of the talking heads made it seem that way. Human polls would take 2/3 the vote, and if Bama beat Florida they would be no higher than #2 on the Computer Polls. If the human polls have a concensus #2 like TCU or Cinci then they will have enough points I think. If they start sharing votes then maybe.

  23. Well, they'd want them there over TCU or Boise, but it was more along the lines of an Andy/SEC post about Big East refs making horrible homer calls. I'm not sure they would really want them over TCU. Either way if it came down to this the BCS might explode.
  24. He's already been released from the hospital. http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=4693657
