Finally got to watch the game. The crowd was great tonight for Arsenal. Walcott, Nasri, and van Persie need to be the front 3 for Arsenal going forward. Song was great today too, and Nasri caused a lot of problems. If van Persie can string something together and Cesc can stay healthy they can go on a deep run. Keep Rosicky out of the 11 please, Arshavin should only start to if someone needs to rest. I forgot all about Chamakh. Nevermind what I said about the front 3. Arshavin should probably be sold, Bendtner will be gone soon.

I love it, if only ManU could go through a similar slump.

Maybe they actually can compete for the League this year. Beating Chelsea was big for them. A healthy Cesc will go a long way towards winning anything.

Because it's depressing to watch him get killed out there, that's why. I've said repeatedly that them drafting Luck really isn't fair to him because he deserves a shot with a team whose coach hasn't quit on them and whose offensive line doesn't appear to be double agents, but the NFL is full of QBs unfairly being chucked out on their butts before they're clearly done. And I want Carolina to win games, and I think Luck's their best shot of doing that. luck is going to be about as successful as clausen. i don't see luck being anything special. Based on...?

Is Carolina better off drafting Luck or trading the pick for extra picks? I could see Arizona, SF, Minn, Tenn, and Miami all wanting to trade up if he declares.

I actually think that Rick Barnes has improved as a coach since last season. Any improvement is a lot for him, but it was unexpected none the less.

The level of excitement of getting Nomar far outweighed any regret over any prospects. Still the most excited I have ever been in a trade. But I was a huge Nomar fan before the deal too.

I'm happy to see Melton playing well.

Well that sucks, if true. I'd really rather not see significant staff turnover like losing the DC again this season. That said, I think Chuck Smith is a good asset as well. Yeah, I'd like some continuity as well. And maybe shnsajax could shed some light on it, but one of the mods at Orangebloods.com has been quoted as saying that he' heard that Wilcox wants out of Tennessee, and has been sort of covertly scouring the job market. Don't know why he'd know that when others don't, and I don't have an orangebloods account to confirm, but there is definitely smoke out there. He does not fit the description that Texas has allegedly posted (12 years NCAA experience and 7 years in the NFL) but he's still involved in rumors there. Both of the Texas jobs have been a lot of smoke and mirrors. So far its been rumored that Randy Shannon, and Teyrl Austin have been offered and accepted both of the positions. Obviously neither one of those is, so its hard to figure out whats going on. There was talk of a mole leaking everything prior to Greg Davis getting fired so it might have been to figure out who was the leak. The job posting were strange but they had a Board of Regents meeting on Friday, the belief is now that the job posting were made to get the approval ahead of time for a pay increase for both assistants without having to wait down the road once someone has been made an offer. Right now I wish I had a better idea for how either assistant is going to be. I had expected both jobs to be filled last week. Now I am realizing it may not happen until the new year. Right now my only guess is that Major Applewhite is named Co-OC with someone who is sort of a splash hire who will be gone in two years for a HC job.

Well we all know it will last for the rest of yours at least.
