    I never said I wanted more power pitchers, not in this thread atleast. :lol: I was just hoping Miller could top out at about 91-92. Because it would make his change-up even more effective. .

    With ESPN? Trust me, it will be every freakin play. You'll get to hear the HP umpire yapping quick nibblets of guck to the hitter and catcher after every pitch. I highly doubt that. They're not going to let that get on the air without them being able to edit it first. Well games are probably on a 5 second delay anyway. . Plus they'll know they have a microphone on. I can imagine it now. While I'm trying to enjoy a game. . STRIKE!!. . "that one really moved, di'n it?" . . . . . . . . . BALL! "so do you wear that jewelry every game?" . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "here you go here's a clean one" . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "step back into that batters box pretty-boy. ." . . . . . . . . . .. . .

    Since it seems likely he's the #5 (for now). What has Miller been hitting with his FB in his starts? Late last season the ball seemed to move real well with this Curve and Change-up. Guys were getting fooled, even at 84 MPH. Even if he adds a couple MPH to that it would make a huge difference since his balls already seem to have great movement.

    I guess I don't know the whole emoticon language so well. You had stone lips guy and not the lip-wiggle guy, so you were 'smiling' opposed to 'LOL'ing so I thought it might have been an idea you were in favor of. But it was sarcastic, got it. What they need is a little sarcastic eye roll guy that doesn't look so patronizing. maybe give him a nice smile. Using the lip wiggle guy could have been protrayed as me laughing at posters here. And I'd never do that.

    Yikes... so we end up trading two guys and our two biggest lefty bats for the roster space for one guy. Then once you trade Jones and your only OFs are Murton, Soriano, Pie, then are you forced to go out and acquire a 4th OF? Besides needing Floyd's permission and Union approval to trade him, it doesn't seem logical. woah. It was a joke. Hence the smile. It was kindof a sarcastic "Ok if you don't like Floyd's defense why don't we just trade him". . . . :)

    I want most of the regulars in this game. I LOVE watching ST games. But it's cooler when the everyday line-up is locked-in. .

    Soriano and Murton both ranked as two of the best LF in baseball last year. Most advanced metrics had Jones at above average, too. The outfield defense will be fine. As long as Floyd isn't playing. Agreed! He's the weak link out there... Then maybe we should trade Floyd so Pie can split time with Jones in CF until he gets comfortable then trade Jones mid-season? :)
