    That's great. He had a great spring in 2005 too. I wonder if he can have another stellar year anywhere close to 2005 again? So far everything matches up with 2005's ST.

    I agree. We have a manager who will play the best performing player. Not the one with the better past, etc. We have a manager who has been saying lately that he will play the best performing player, in stark contrast to his actions on the last team he managed. Let's save the absolute comments until we've actually seen him work during the season. I like what he's said just as much as anybody here, but he's yet to follow through on any of that (through no fault of his own, granted). Let's remember to not get too worked up over a couple of sound-bytes, alright? YES SIR!!!

    I too, would prefer Soriano in the 5 spot. However I do truely beleive there is something about his comfort in the #1 spot, because he has consistantly put up better #'s there.

    Weurtz was an important peice to our BP. Our BP has now been strengthened. .

    Lou is watching :wink: I think Ryan will play a fair amount of games; news today is he (or DeRosa) will be in RF, instead of Jones, against LHP. Where'd you hear this? This is very, very good news. Think it was on cubs.com. But I'll let the delegate (read: not a lazy ass) linker do the honors. . :)

    They did a really good job making z's eyebrow look shaven. Unless Zammy really does shave his eyebrows. . If it was fake, then the Cubs come out on top in this one. Z had to have his forehead digitally altered. But A.J. had to have foam on his face. And he looked OWNED with that foam on his face. HA HAAAAA!! Go Cubs!!! 8-)

    well according to the MLB.tv schedule. the CUBS vs. MIL game is suppposed to be on MLB.tv via video feed. So maybe it will be the brewers TV broadcast that will be available to subscribers? Any way, it's not on here in chicago but looks like it might be available to us spring training MLB.tv nutz.

    But if Bob starts talking about handshakes and hugging other men, you might want to switch to WGN 720. As soon as you do that, Pat & Ron wont be covering the game at all.. Instead they will be talking about Ron's French dog. At that point, suicide is your only option. Naw, I actually sympethized with Bob on that one. I once went to do a hand bump with my friend I hadn't seen in a while and he went for a hand shake. I was quite embarassed.

    Yeah. I'm really starting to think, if A-rod REALLY went around during the winter saying I'm gonna be with Lou and the Cubs, then it would have been reported all over the place. However, what you say is true. it's just nice to think about.
