  1. Carlos being Carlos
  2. I'm rooting for MSU because the only person I have any level of emotion for that's better than 'totally detest' in the UNC program is the criminally underrated Ty Lawson.
  3. Get used to that sight of Hansbrough shooting freebies, since you'll probably spend the better part of the next two hours watching it.
  4. Well, I haven't had an opportunity to rub it in their faces lately, thanks to Davweisinghamie. FTR, Illinois won exactly two games under 60 points this year.
  5. and since we had a good conference we took issue with it, why is this so hard for you to understand?I'm explaining why the SEC wasn't talked about for its weaknesses. And it was because that wasn't a point anyone was debating, so it wasn't brought up as much. Why so hard for YOU to understand? So why were we debating how weak the Big Ten was when we had the second best conference rpi all year? Oh, I know because we had the audacity to start our own network. That's right. And when Notre Dame football got its own network deal, we started getting the same treatment. You act like I have no idea what it's like to be treated irrationally by ESPN and company.

  7. Michigan State and Purdue played a total of one game that they won scoring under 60. It can happen, but it doesn't happen often.
  8. Im sorry but the "Big Ten honks" deserve to come out and talk some [expletive]. The Big 10 has been killed by every major sports journalist/tv commentator, and fans of all other major conference. Everybody all year wanted to kiss the Big Easts ass, and yet the Big Ten Champ manhandled the Big East Champ in Louisville, and took it too UConn. Plain and Simple. BIG EAST KILLERS! :D Well, I'm convinced. The Big 10 was better! I don't think we were better, but we were good enough that everyone didn't need to take popshots at us all year long. That's pretty much were I stand (I think most agree). The Big Ten was a solid, deep conference this year that didn't deserve to be treated like the SEC (which really got off easy relatively). It only 'got off easy' because there really wasn't any debate. SEC fans agreed that their conference wasn't very good so unlike the Big Ten the debate wasn't a holy war.
  9. Shocker. Hansbrough wins another award.
  10. Great, now the Big Ten honks are coming out. It was a double-edged sword in this game...
  11. Calhoun ruined a great comeback by his team. Fouling down 6, pressing down 3...horrible. Congrats MSU. Whether I root for you again on Monday or not depends on who wins the 2nd game.
  12. Why in holy crap would you foul there??
  13. Nantz: "UConn knocked out a Big East team in the regional final...trying to do it again tonight."
  14. He's got a CLEAN dossier. Except for when A.J. Price, who's ON THE FREAKING TEAM NOW, joined up with Marcus Williams to steal some laptops. What a joke.
  15. I realy can't stand anything about UConn. Their coach is a sleaze, their players get into lots of trouble off the court, and even those that don't (Thabeet) are complete ninnies on the court.
  16. I was at church and missed the first half, but reading the first half's posts, it sounds like the fact that UConn is the only Big East team that I vehemently root against is once again being justified.
  17. I just start giggling when people try to run on Soriano now.
  18. Most of the off-season I haven't been ready to get going with the 09 season, but the last couple of weeks have produced the same anxiety of any other season. Let's get this going.
  19. I think I had us overperforming our Pythagorean by like 9 games last year. I fixed that this time around. by having us underperforming our pythagorean by like 9 games this year? I have us at +153 in runs and +16 in wins. Am I missing something?
  20. I think I had us overperforming our Pythagorean by like 9 games last year. I fixed that this time around.
  21. July 27-29 will be my annual trip to Wrigley this year against Houston. I've picked up bleachers to the first one, but bleachers for the other two are unavailable. I also picked up a pair of Terrace Infield seats to the Cubs/Cardinals game on April 17th. That will be my first Cubs/Cards game, and I'm very excited.
  22. Michael Jordan got hit harder and more often in any one playoff game against Detroit in the late '80s and 1990 than LeBron has ever been hit in his entire life.
  23. I'm failing to see why Mike Scioscia would've left Anaheim for the Cubs right after winning a World Series.
