I didn't mean to sidetrack the thread. Thabeet will need to develop a game outside 2 feet from the basket offensively to be a major factor in the NBA. I'm just glad the Bulls won't be in position to take him, we don't need any more big-guy projects.
It's easy to shoot 64 percent when 80 percent of your shots are layups or dunks over guys four inches or more shorter. And in the NBA, he's not going to be allowed to shove, go over the back and hip-bump guys in midair to get blocked shots like he did at UConn. Whether or not he'll be any good in the NBA I don't know. I'm just glad that twit is out of my college hoops conference.
Good, he only got to steal half a Big East POY award before leaving. You think he wasn't deserving? You could argue he changed how the other team played more than anyone. He also averaged the most blocks per game in Big East history and considering Ewing, Deke and Mourning all played in the Big East that's saying a lot. If you are horrifyingly bad at half the game, you can't be player of the year. And he got totally schooled - twice - by the guy he 'shared' the award with.
I was talking about the lack of proper tags, a title, a summary and track art. Sound quality's the same regardless. Oh. Well, I put a title and track art on it when I put it into iTunes, so I win either way.
It was the only place this game could've been played, though. Hat tip to whoever it was on here that found the Justin.tv link for us, the only reason I got to see the end of that.
Seeing Everett reminds me. His former teammate Mark "Any Time I Get Lit Up, The Other Team's Cheating" Buehrle should at least be in the conversation for this team.
