    Well, here we go. Tyrus Thomas jumps into Big Baby and scores with no foul, and Perkins does the same at Noah and gets the call.

    Good lord, Ben Gordon is amazing sometimes. Big Baby's hand in his face and he drills one at the shot clock buzzer.

    I remember being a stupid 9 year old kid watching the 1996 Finals and deciding that the Bulls had purposely lost Games 4 and 5 in Seattle so they could clinch at home. I had no inkling of how good Seattle actually was.

    This game is on CSN. ;) Oh, that's no good !!! CUBS are 0-4 when CSN broadcasts the game Did you count Opening Day as an ESPN game? We won that one and it was on CSN.

    You might have seen him try to flop during a fight today (and have it almost work)? It always makes me laugh when NBA players are so conditioned to flop at the first sign of contact that they flop during fights.

    how do you decide which teams to root for? cubs, rockets and 49ers??? Our other roommate my senior year had the Red Sox, Suns and Dolphins. My having the Panthers and a bunch of Chicago teams looks totally normal by comparison.

    Nothing tops Aramabombs for me. I think at some point I may have liked sneaky power bombs, but I'm having a hard time placing any of those in my memory.

    well i'm sure you'll love the Mike Mitchell pick Absolutely loved it. I didn't hear the whole thing, but I'm pretty sure on SportsCenter that I heard either Kiper or McShay had Mitchell as the 126th or something around there best player in the draft. That's not to say those guys' lists are the end all but still, if a guy is ranked No. 126, chances are you can grab him in the third round with the 71st pick. The ESPN guys flat-out asked Kiper what the earliest he thought Oakland would've had to worry about anyone else taking Mitchell was, and he said "Fifth round. At least." And Berman said they had no highlights on him. He wasn't in the draft guide, being listed between 40th and 73rd best safety in the draft. There was other stuff in there I'm sure but by this time my insane laughter was drowning out the rest of it. Oakland's always a good source of draft entertainment.

    You do realize his last 2 seasons he had a really bad elbow injury that allowed him to play but not at 100%? His numbers may have been even better the last 2 years had he been 100%, especially the power numbers. And he missed like 4 weeks in 2007 with an oblique injury and 2 weeks last year with an injury I forgot. I know about the elbow injury but if you can still play and be unstoppable through an injury, then that's clearly not serious enough an injury.

    I'm glad we got Everette Brown but I really wish we'd quit trading away first rounders a year ahead of time. I wish we'd just given away our 59th pick instead of blowing next year's 1st rounder.
