Ball State beat Miami (OH) for the first time in six years tonight in 2 overtimes to get back to .500 overall and in league play. On a much more important note, this South Carolina game is nuts.
-
You must be a Colts fan or something, because I don't recall ever thinking the Bears would win, nor do I remember hearing anyone pick the Bears.
-
That's if someone doesn't beat them up and take the boombox first. Dibs.
-
They lost to the Cardinals once on the last play of the last game to knock them out of the playoffs and I'm told that call is priceless.
-
Eh, well. It was worth a shot to try to get him at a new position. Overall I've been pleased with my impressions of Kelly's recruiting so far. Care to explain why? I've been thoroughly unimpressed so far. I guess I'm just glad to see him pursuing top talent. Of course, he needs to actually get it. doesnt ND always pursue top talent? It was a Brian Kelly thing. There were those (not me) that thought he wouldn't go hard after blue-chippers because he would be too focused on his "RKG's" (right kind of guys, quoted from his presser).
-
I just remember all Seattle fans and many national sportswriters whining about the officiating and wondering why because Pittsburgh pretty well controlled the game and would've beaten the Seahawks 8 times out of 10.

Tails never fails, Vikings. Come on now.
-
Out of a timeout. Wow.
-
especially when dont get a challenge back that you won. why should the saints get penalized for the blown call? Yeah, I could deal with two misses and then you're done, but I like the college system much better. I think at least for the playoffs the NFL should adopt the college system. Provided NFL refs don't suck and overturn correct calls like most college refs do, I'm for it.
-
Yes it was. The one called included a lift then drive into the ground. That's illegal. The one not called was a shot below the knees - Tom Brady rule.
-
The stupid thing is that was no less of roughing the passer than the one that was called.
-
Well, the Jets made it interesting for a little while I guess.
-
Pretty nice timing to brain-fart on what play was called. Geez.
-
What did Mark Sanchez do to the refs? He got lit up there for no reason, no flag.
-
With a team composed largely of young guys who haven't won before, bombastic confidence is exactly what I'd want out of my coach.
-
Jim Caldwell moves your barometer? Huh? Rex Ryan just annoys the crap out of me. Sports needs as many Rex Ryans as possible. Guys like him make sports fun if you ask me.

This could really get out of hand quickly.
-
Rex Ryan and company are just fantastic. TD would be beyond huge for the Jets here.
-
Texas had already lost this week.
-
Just as I say the Big East is down, UConn downs Texas with a dominating 2nd half. Maybe I should hate on them more often...
-
ND takes care of DePaul behind a two-pronged effort from Abromaitis (30 pts) and Harangody (24).
-
He really seems to be developing a swagger too.

28,337.

Rep. I'll be the first to say that the Big East is down this year (which a lot of people projected before the season).
