  1. I'm kind of feeling a 6 game loss to the Heat right now. If this team took Miami to 6 games, it'd be hard not to feel good about that.
  2. There's certainly a chance. I wouldn't make it more than 50/50 though...not sure how the other Bulls fans here feel.
  3. he's done for 9-12 months. Knowing Rose he'll try and bust his ass to get back for the beginning of next season. I hope the Bulls are smart enough not to let him.
  4. Not the only Twitter account that is posting that. I don't think anything will be known for sure until the MRI is done, though.
  5. Love the Joe Adams pick. Hopefully he can become another much needed offensive weapon
  6. I'm jealous of Carolina's pick. He must be good if he's from Midwestern State and getting taken in round 2. We draft a lot of guys from no-name schools and none of them have panned out to this point, but I guess a 311-pound O-lineman is always a good start.
  7. New England traded up? Did they do that intentionally?
  8. Pretty solid stretch there by Costanza.
  9. This year may suck but at least we'll have these two nights. Awesome.
  10. no, $9.8m in 2013 then he's a free agent. Well, that's slightly less disgustingly terrible.
  11. So there's something like $19 million left after this season on that Marmol contract, right?
  12. The Panthers need a wideout, so I'll go ahead and take McNutt since he was just Dolphin-blocked.
  13. Really cool way to end it. Keep it up.
  14. Rodrigo Lopez is terrible and giving him money is embarrassing. If you don't want one of our important prospects to pitch, bring up some other journeyman from the minors, I'm sure we've got more.
  15. Spectacular. Sign me up.
  16. Not likely. Yeah, winning 3 out of each 12 might be shooting a bit high for this group
  17. No cutesy stupid graphic-laden GDT start today. Cobs suck, please win, thank you much.
  18. You've got a great future in the erik arts. I don't walk around predicting doom and gloom. It's not hard to predict a home run on a 3-1 pitch to a slugger from a pitcher who has no clue what he's doing. That was my only point.
  19. Yeah, and Darwin Barney should never field another routine ground ball in a Cubs uniform. If not for the stupid Marlin grounding into a DP, I'm not sure Dolis would have thrown one effective strike all night. He really hasn't had much control or command in any of his appearances. Give someone else a shot. Sorry, but he has had less than ten innings in the majors. He's easily our best option to stick long-term. Let him have his growing pains and learn. Thank you. He'd better start throwing strikes. Nothing is more annoying than a pitcher who doesn't throw strikes. That Hanley homer was so predictable I called it before the pitch.
  20. Probably helps us more than it hurts us the way he's been going
  21. May 5, 2000, Cubs vs Pirates. My 8th grade class took a class trip to Chicago for the day. We arrived late for the game (one of my biggest pet peeves, but I wasn't running things that day so I had no choice), but we didn't miss much. Cubs lost 4-2, Sosa and Eric Young homered and Kevin Tapani took the loss. Still a great day.
  22. I for one am shocked that Random Scrub X that is playing for injured Berkman (who himself was washed up 2 years ago before he signed in STL) is raking on us.
