There's going to be a good deal of the league that won't be playing UVA or UNC basically ever (if this goes through), so I don't know how much of an effect it would have.
Yes, that's what's driving this. A UNC alum wanting to destroy the ACC I fail to understand any other motivation for adding mediocre (in football) filler, small-TV-market programs like UNC and Virginia.
I imagine I'll get flamed to hell for this, but Illinois as a 5 seems insane to me. I know the B1G is great, but they're still 5-7 in the league. Am I missing something? Is college hoops just that bad this year?
He has the Titans taking Milliner/Warford/Rambo/Ball in the first 4 rounds. Mike Munchak needs to read this mock and take it to heart. I could live with DJ Fluker in round 2 for Carolina.
If he commits, someone posted on Twitter that ND will have more 5* California kids than any school. I'm guessing that doesn't happen often. Even if he doesn't, a terrific class put together by Kelly and Co.
On the contrary, the committee has explicitly stated that recent games have no more weight than early games in the selection process. They've said it, but I feel like we've seen several brackets that show evidence to the contrary.
At this point, unless we learn something dramatically different, people who want to believe Te'o pulled a massive prank on the world for Heisman votes are going to view everything through that prism and people who prefer to think he was largely innocent apart from being an over-trusting tool will do the same. It is largely irrelevant what Te'o says or in what forum he says it in that respect.
- He said the 8-hour phone calls didn't start until she was ostensibly in the hospital post-'car wreck'. They went from late April until her supposed 'death' - He admitted that he lied to his parents about meeting with her, and his dad told the press that story He also admitted lying to the media directly about meeting her. Yes. I was directly answering manbearcub's question, though.

If I'm reading between the lines correctly, Te'o suspected something was up when he went to ND, ND's report confirmed a hoax on Jan. 5. Te'o wasn't 100 percent certain there wasn't a Lennay Kekua (by which I assume he meant he didn't know if there was a girl at the center of this hoax) until Tuiasosopo apologized two days ago.
Also of note is that Te'o did not know this was a hoax when he first got the resurrection phone call on Dec. 6 as widely assumed, that was just a continuation of said hoax. Until the apology call Wednesday, Te'o did not know for certain whether the girl existed.
I didn't hear anything to that extent. The only surprising thing I heard out of that exchange between Schaap and Jay Harris was that this Tuiasosopo apparently called Te'o two days ago and apologized for the scam (which would've been the same day, obviously, that this story came out). Schaap said this was backed up with Twitter messages which Te'o showed him.
