  1. That's what my final is too. Had New Mexico and Miami as my other final 4 teams. Biggest upset seed wise are Bellmont over Arizona and Bucknell over Butler. I'm tempted to pick Pitt over Gonzaga in the 2nd round but don't have it currently. I picked Bucknell as well, and the play-in winner over Memphis. My actual biggest upset is UNC over Kansas in round 2.
  2. I just picked Louisville over Florida, but I have few upsets and don't feel great about the bracket as a whole. But we'll see.
  3. That makes sense to me. Louisville was a borderline 1 going into the BET and Zags were 4th so they could've been jumped if Georgetown had won the BET. KU probably hurdled Duke over the weekend. Wow, Ole Miss in whether they won or not per Bobinski
  4. You should be partying. We haven't played well in a first-round game in five years. You have a good shot.
  5. We nailed all 68, and except for that ridiculous Pitt 8 seed, we were within 2 on all of them I believe. This is an awesome bracket.
  6. That had better have been for bracketing or something. That's a joke.
  7. I'm not sure what to make of Iowa St. I guess there are teams I'd be more scared of. I really don't like being in Ohio State's pod.
  8. I don't think we've been off by more than 2 seeds on anyone we put in. Middle Tenn is our only miss. How are they a miss? They were in the last S-Curve from today. Oh, I had Tennessee on my bracket where I meant Mid Tenn. Then we haven't missed anyone. And I doubt we will.
  9. I don't think we've been off by more than 2 seeds on anyone we put in. Middle Tenn is our only miss.
  10. ND's going to be a 7 opposite Ohio State. Not a good draw
  11. Good draw for Illinois IMO even though the CBSers don't agree
  12. We nailed both play-in matchups.
  13. UI has 8/9 written all over it. Probably opposite Miami, who at this point I'm betting jumped the Zags for a 1. If IU and Gonzaga are the other 1's, UI can't be in the 8/9 game. Well then Illinois's either in the 8/9 game or 7/10 game opposite Miami.
  14. Our committee always ends up seeding B1G teams higher than the real one does.
  15. UI has 8/9 written all over it. Probably opposite Miami, who at this point I'm betting jumped the Zags for a 1.
  16. Whoa, UNC an 8.
  17. Yeah. Either KU or Miami got the other one (I would put KU there but I have a feeling it's Miami). Miami has some awful losses this year. More than any others among the top 16 (and KU has one as well, but Miami has multiple). I agree, but the committee seems to always fall in love with the top ACC teams (Duke in 2010 and '11 for instance)
  18. Yeah. Either KU or Miami got the other one (I would put KU there but I have a feeling it's Miami).
  19. That is a bear of a bottom half between MSU and Duke. Tough draw for Louisville as far as the Final Four goes.
  20. Mid Tenn in. Wow. We missed that.
  21. Really surprised Duke got bumped to a 2. Guess that means KU's a 1. Or maybe Miami
  22. I heard that too. I think IU's falling off the top 1 seed in favor of Louisville, but they're still, at worst, the third 1 seed.
  23. I think we're off a seed on Ohio State, who could just as well be swapped with Michigan at this point. Other than that, though, I don't see a seed Miami should jump. Can easily be done if we'd like. I agree with you. ETA: That also creates a heck of an interesting storyline in Michigan/Harvard. And while the committee never says they go after storylines, we've seen lots of evidence that they like to.
  24. Ole Miss is in (congrats OMC). I posted a final bracket to account for it. Bye Kentucky. I also flipped Miami and G'town's locations per SSR's suggestion. MIDWEST (Indianapolis) Dayton 1 Indiana vs 16 Liberty/North Carolina A&T 8 UNLV vs 9 Colorado Austin 4 Syracuse vs 13 New Mexico State 5 Oklahoma State vs 12 Akron Austin 6 Colorado State vs 11 Wichita State 3 Miami vs 14 Iona Philadelphia 7 Illinois vs 10 Oregon 2 Georgetown vs 15 Pacific WEST (Los Angeles) San Jose 1 Gonzaga vs 16 Southern 8 NC State vs 9 Cincinnati Salt Lake City 4 Kansas State vs 13 Valparaiso 5 Arizona vs 12 Belmont Salt Lake City 6 VCU vs 11 Ole Miss 3 New Mexico vs 14 South Dakota State Auburn Hills 7 Creighton vs 10 Oklahoma 2 Michigan St. vs 15 Florida Gulf Coast EAST (Washington, DC) Lexington 1 Duke vs 16 LIU-Brooklyn/James Madison 8 San Diego State vs 9 Minnesota Philadelphia 4 Marquette vs 13 Bucknell 5 St. Louis vs 12 California/12 Tennessee Kansas City 6 Butler vs 11 Boise State 3 Florida vs 14 Northwestern State Dayton 7 Notre Dame vs 10 St. Mary's 2 Ohio State vs. 15 Montana SOUTH (Arlington, TX) Lexington 1 Louisville vs. 16 Western Kentucky 8 Memphis vs 9 Missouri San Jose 4 Wisconsin vs 13 Davidson 5 Pittsburgh vs 12 Iowa State/12 La Salle Auburn Hills 6 North Carolina vs 11 Temple 3 Michigan vs 14 Harvard Kansas City 7 UCLA vs 10 Villanova 2 Kansas vs 15 Albany
  25. I'm pretty confident we'll miss on Miami (they look likely to be a 2 at this point and might even leapfrog to a 1 - the committee chair on CBS earlier today said the 1 line wasn't decided), but what're you gonna do?
