I really don't understand how this is going to work. So in addition to the Catholic bloc, potentially SLU, Dayton and Creighton, there will also be Louisville, Rutgers, USF, Connecticut, Central Florida, Houston, SMU, Navy, San Diego State, Memphis and Boise? Or have most of those schools fallen through? The Big East is such a mess and I can't keep up with it. The soon-to-be-ex-Big East will still include the teams in the latter group (until Louisville and Rutgers bolt of course). They'll be a different conference and won't be affiliated with the Catholic 7/Big East. The most important part to me is that it means ND will probably manage to get to the ACC this off-season, though remaining in the soon-to-be-ex-Big East is still a (hopefully remote) possibility, as is playing one season in the Catholic 7/Big East if joining the ACC can't happen this summer.
