  1. Well, any thought of Wisconsin not being in the top 16 is probably vaporized now. I'd say Georgetown probably jumps Michigan with a win tonight but unless we think one of our projected 3's will jump them as well it's not really important to our projections.
  2. Those Michigan unis are fine. Of all the adidas schools I think UM has the least to complain about. Their football specialty unis haven't been the best but they haven't been an affront to human decency like everything they've done with Notre Dame's. I freaked out for about half a minute about being able to actually watch ESPN on WatchESPN before realizing they don't black out midday programming on the Internet.
  3. I have problems running it on Chrome but it works in explorer (the only thing I use that browser for). Yeah, I started using IE for ESPN3 after it lagged pitifully on Firefox. For whatever reason it works ok in IE.
  4. Could switch them with Florida and send Cuse to KC, I suppose.
  5. Then I'm confused, because I don't see them in your current top 16, which is where I think they should be. I like St. Louis' resume, probably more than most here, but I don't agree. Who in that top 16 should be bumped for SLU?
  6. I could easily see Georgetown grabbing Louisville's 1 seed if they win the Big East tournament.
  7. Yeah, that was my original thought. UK placed Southern in there, but I think they'll escape now. Also, is there a reason UM wouldn't be in Auburn Hills?
  8. Working off of what UK posted, here's a possible podding: 1 Indiana vs 16 Liberty/MEAC - Dayton (Midwest) 1 Duke vs 16 Southern/James Madison - Lexington (East) 1 Gonzaga vs 16 LIU-Brooklyn - San Jose (West) 1 Louisville vs. 16 Western Kentucky - Lexington (South) 2 Kansas vs 15 America East (South) - Kansas City 2 Michigan vs. Big Sky (East) - Philly 2 Michigan St. vs 15 Florida Gulf Coast (West) - Auburn Hills 2 Georgetown vs 15 Big West (Midwest) - Austin, TX 3 Miami vs 14 Iona (Midwest) - Austin, TX 3 Ohio State vs 14 Harvard (South) - Dayton 3 New Mexico vs 14 South Dakota State (West) - Salt Lake City 3 Florida vs 14 Davidson (East) - Kansas City 4 Marquette (East) - Auburn Hills 4 Kansas State (West) - Salt Lake City 4 Syracuse (Midwest) - Philly 4 Wisconsin (South) - San Jose Edited for Big West being in there twice
  9. Agreed on both. I think I like ISU's more than you, but in a normal bubble year they wouldn't be sniffing the tournament. UVA's resume is absolute crap apart from their win over Duke.
  10. Bill Walton is absolutely blitzed out of his mind this evening, apparently. He made a Ray Lewis/limo joke and a Bill Simmons suspension joke just in the first half of the Washington/Oregon game.
  11. I already liked Boise's resume, and I like it more with each bubble loss.
  12. Jay Bilas said it looked like someone's Shamrock Shake vomit. I really hate Adidas.
  13. Not that they were going to last long anyway but I suspect Denver can be ripped off the board after 12-21 Texas State bounced them in the WAC tourney.
  14. Good call. I had forgotten about that restriction.
  15. Mistake post
  16. Ok, so what we have so far, just using the top 8 and bottom 8 since they're the confirmed ones. I'm taking Southern out of the play-in for these purposes since the committee obviously doesn't like putting both HBCU in there. 1 Indiana vs 16 Liberty/MEAC - Dayton (Midwest Region) 1 Duke vs 16 LIU Brooklyn/W. Kentucky - Lexington (East Region) 1 Louisville vs 16 Southern - Lexington (South Region) 1 Gonzaga vs 16 James Madison - San Jose (West Region) 2 Kansas vs 15 America East - Kansas City 2 Michigan State vs 15 Big Sky - Auburn Hills 2 Michigan vs 15 TBD - Auburn Hills 2 Georgetown vs 15 TBD - Philadelphia What regions do the 2's go in? I confess slight ignorance on whether travel time or keeping the top 2's with the bottom 1's is supposed to be the priority. If travel time is the priority, then Kansas should go out west, MSU should go to the Midwest Region and Michigan would then go to D.C. with Georgetown headed to Arlington. But if 'ranking' the 2's is important, then MSU and Georgetown should switch.
  17. Are you afraid a pro-UK crowd would drown out the proximity of Lexington for Louisville? I'm running on little sleep and clearly am losing my mind. Yeah, obviously Lexington makes more sense for Louisville.
  18. As for bracketing pods, these seem like logical places to put the top 8. IU - Dayton Duke - Lexington (no Greensboro or Charlotte or blatantly pro-Duke/UNC pods? NCAA slacking there) Louisville - Dayton Gonzaga - San Jose Kansas - Kansas City MSU - Auburn Hills Michigan - Auburn Hills Georgetown - Philadelphia
  19. Me too.
  20. And National Championships That's Alabama that does that. If you ask a Bama fan, they'll claim the Tide won a national title every year. There were several self-pitying jokes among the ND fanbase in January that the Irish could still claim a national title by Alabama standards, since they claim the 1973 title that ND took from them in the Orange (?) Bowl.
  21. I'm on the road and won't be back till late tonight. Should be able to get that list in by midnight, just a heads-up.
  22. The SEC rakes in as much or more money as any conference. I don't see why they'd leave.
  23. They make those fake covers on the Internet, so I guess I'll be in the market for one of those if I buy this game.
  24. SI's Pete Thamel reporting that ND's jump to the ACC for 2013-14 will be made official tomorrow.
  25. Ryan Swope is in the finals against Denard.
