  1. Or if you feel like he's doing a lot else very well, but struggles with dispensing too many minutes, help him with the aspect you think he needs help with? Is it your opinion that this is the first time this issue has come up between Thibs and management? Because if they've addressed it before (and I'm guessing they have) and he's ignoring them to the degree that they now are basically ordering him how to dispense minutes, then that's well beyond 'helping him'.
  2. I may be a victim of selection bias as an Indiana native, but it seems like no team has won as many games while sucking it up for half the game than the Colts over the last 15 years or so.
  3. Good Lord. If you think he's mismanaging the rotation to the degree that it hurts the team (and I can't imagine they wouldn't have told him so prior to this), fire him. If not, let him [expletive] coach the team.
  4. Matt Ryan without Roddy White and Julio Jones is...not good. He really was horrific today. First 2 INTs were both into triple coverage and his third was a telegraphed out route for a pick-6.

  6. I like this thing Carolina does where they destroy the other team. They should keep doing that.
  7. This. Spared us a (more) miserable off-season.
  8. Last night was the first. Not just first game, first minutes. They'll figure things out.
  9. Tolbert is a potentially useful TD vulture because Carolina probably gives him the ball on 80 percent of plays inside the 5. I had Daniel Thomas last week and was pleased with him.
  10. Compared to Kansas and Kentucky? You don't even know, UK. They were going to split the B1G basketball divisions just to keep Purdue and IU women's basketball away from each other.
  11. In his PURE-ELO ratings, he has NIU 51st, which just displays how ridiculous the BCS computers are forced to be by the guys in charge.
  12. How was Ellington available? I've been stashing him on multiple teams for a month. Between him, Peterson, Dez and Stafford, I had a nice day yesterday.
  13. You're only looking at Saturday. Stanford/Oregon and Baylor/Oklahoma are both Thursday night. Good call. That's much better, then.
  14. But, but, blackout uniforms!!!
  15. If you're bummed out about this week's slate, you don't want to see next week's. 10 of the current BCS top 25 are on a bye next week and only 2 play each other (and that game, LSU/Bama, doesn't appear on paper to be a competitive matchup at all right now).
  16. 17. I'm not a student of the rule book, but it doesn't sound like it does.
  18. This is why I don't watch their playoff (or any) games. Much easier to remain detached when I don't see what new ridiculous way STL finds to be awarded a win as it happens.
  19. I don't envy Mizzou fans. That's a terrible way to go. However, they do still control their own destiny in the SEC and probably don't need more than a loss by Oregon or FSU to get back into the title race.
  20. Florida St leads NC State 28-0. Nine minutes into the game.
  21. Tommy Rees cleared to practice today and expected to start at Air Force. Never thought I'd be so happy to see him behind center.
  22. You're right. I thought I saw 3 years somewhere but that was wrong.
  23. Well, to be fair, they also self-imposed 3 years of bowl bans while waiting for a decision.
  24. That's a pretty wild table there. A whole bunch of teams in uncharted territory. This week will be the first game week which Carolina enters with a .500+ record since 2008, which is incomprehensible to me.
  25. UPDATE: My roster is screwed. Lost Cobb last week for 4-6 weeks, Cutler for 4-6 weeks this wee, Bradford (not great, but better than any waiver wire crap out there) for the season with an ACL, and also lost Reggie Wayne for the season with an ACL last night. So much for my 4-1-1 record and #2 spot in total points. Uh, wow. That's about as bad as it gets. That sucks.
