  1. Must have been before they changed it to hashtagkarma.com
  2. Those damn ungrateful students better stay all the way until the end of those four 50-point blowouts (and two 24-point wins over A&M and Auburn).
  3. Well, this isn't good. http://www.tampabay.com/sports/college/statement-police-warned-accuser-about-pursuing-jameis-winston-matter/2153364
  4. The penalty should've been called. I think Robert Lester breaks up that pass anyway, though.
  5. Carolina's lost enough games in stupid fashion the last few years that I'm not apologizing for that one.
  6. There really isn't one, but after losing to mediocre-to-bad Pitt and Michigan teams I don't care much where ND is ranked these days.
  7. Thats kinda cherry-picking. I could say that the gamecocks are the only team to give two top 18 teams their only loss. Beside ASU and UCLA play on saturday so stanford will only hold that distinction for a few days. Bottom line they lost to a bad team and a mediocre team. USC is ranked now, so how mediocre are they, really? And ND is the only other team to defeat 3 currently-ranked teams, so if you want me to extend to the top 25, the point still stands. Stanford has far, FAR better wins than Oklahoma State or Michigan State. Moreover, if you consider USC mediocre, than what do you think of three-loss ND (MSU's loss) and SEVEN-loss West Virginia (Oklahoma State's)?
  8. OK State isn't playing for the national title. No matter who comes out of the SEC, they will finish ahead of the Cowboys, and Florida St isn't gonna lose. Even if they did, Ohio St would be there. To answer your previous question, Stanford has 3 wins over teams ranked in the top 17, more than anybody else, while neither OK St or Mich St has beaten a ranked team.
  9. Can you beat them like 3 times? Cuz that would work for me. Haha I'd do backflips for 1.

  11. An inexplicable non-conference loss is practically an ND tradition, though it usually doesn't come until December. ISU is good, but ND played like garbage today. And IU, Ohio St and Iowa are still left on the OOC schedule. Ugh.
  12. Carolina's just going to have to beat New Orleans for the South themselves, I guess. At least it's nice to see the Saints look vulnerable at home for once.
  13. How is it even allowed that it's 8:35 ET and the Pac-12 hasn't set kick times for half their league games next week yet?
  14. Hell, they beat Bama and win SEC title they will jump all the way to #2. There's no question. Any one loss team that beats Alabama trumps Ohio State or Baylor. I doubt it. They will still be 4th in both human polls and will share votes with Oregon too. That won't be enough. They won't be sharing any votes with Oregon. The pollsters will rocket Auburn up the rankings if they beat Bama (which they won't, they will probably lose by 20).
  15. Hell, they beat Bama and win SEC title they will jump all the way to #2. There's no question. Any one loss team that beats Alabama trumps Ohio State or Baylor.
  16. Ed Orgeron is basically demanding the full-time USC job at this point. Also, Oregon is right back in control of its Pac-12 destiny.
  17. They'll win by 28. They just like to tease every now and again.
  18. That was absolutely unbelievable.
  19. Verne actually got it right for once when he said it's probable that his knee was down, but that there isn't enough evidence. Yeah, I agreed with that too.
  20. Colts aren't going to be able to get away with taking entire halves off in the playoffs like they have in 2 of the last 3 games now.
  21. Well, that was fun having BSU being on the outside looking in at the Top 25. See you again in 5 years if the stars align again with the next coach
  22. 2 of the 3 teams you listed have multiple impressive wins (Stanford over Oregon and ASU, South Carolina over Missouri and UCF [both on the road]), and the other - A&M - doesn't have a bad loss as both their defeats were to top 10 teams, albeit at home. As TT alluded to, MSU and Wisconsin are doubtless both good, but neither have any really impressive victories yet.
  23. Franklin is going to get a big-time job (bigger than Illinois, like USC) this offseason and Tressel is still under show-cause, but Petrino could be intriguing.
  24. This is because Georgia fans are absolute idiots. I dont know what they expect but they have had a decade in the top tier of the SEC and played in the SEC title game 6 times. This is a lloyd carr situation and the program thinks it should be better than is reasonable. Bingo. Richt is a terrific coach. He's not Nick Saban, but neither are 123 other FBS coaches. Hell, he was 3 yards away from the NCG last year.
  25. Haha thanks. It's been way too long since Carolina was good, because I was a nervous wreck the entire game. Those 2 fumbles on the Panthers' final drive about made my head explode.
