    Completely disagree. He's especially awful at football. This is the guy that got all outraged over Randy Moss pretending to moon the crowd. He completely messed up the call on the David Tyree catch. Ugh, he's just bad. I was with you for a long time. Either it's Stockholm Syndrome (don't rule this out) or he's improved. I feel like he improved after that vocal-cord thing healed, but who knows. The Moss thing was definitely stupid.

    Everything I've read about Buck makes him seem like a pretty good guy, actually. And when he's not pontificating on STL, he's a good broadcaster.

    Holy hell you never would've convinced me Rizzo and Soto were teammates. It really does seem like a different eon.

    where are you in western Michigan? my parents moved by st. joseph and there's a cub's themed bar and grill in that area. I'm not going there for a watch party, but in theory that should be a fun place to watch the game North of Muskegon, so well north of St. Joe. I actually almost interviewed for a job there before I found out which company owned the paper.

    i've flown them once and it was [expletive] awesome they need to add direct ORD to LAS service damnit Flew them to SF for a wedding last year on my wife's recommendation from a previous trip she'd made. Lived up to every expectation.

    I'm going to have to DVR Game 1 if the Cubs win Wednesday and somehow avoid hearing anything while tweeting updates from the HS football game I'm covering.

    Long shot you're flying Virgin America, but they have free TV that has TBS.

    Last year they had streaming if you authenticated with a cable login. Just finished reading a Techgraphs article that said TBS hasn't formally announced anything for this year, but my guess is it'll be the same. OK, cool thanks. I googled but was worried the blackout restrictions or whatever would apply. I mooch off my parent's login (so I'm still in some quasi-adulthood, I guess). TBS has a "Watch TBS" app, I'm assuming it would work with a provider login.

    I'd be missing the end of game 1 regardless of when it starts because work, but if it starts at 4 I'd see most of it. I suppose that's not the worst thing

    I imagine if we were making a run I'd calmly enjoy AL games.

    The chances of it being in prime time, especially if we're in it, are probably somewhere between 99.5 and 100 percent. But nothing is official.
