    Well, at least we aren't some people, guys. It could be worse.

    Yeah. A whole lot went right for us this year and these opportunities don't come around much. Our odds are as good as anyone's but it's significantly less than 50/50 that we'll be back here in a year.

    The Mets being talked about as on equal footing with the Cubs in terms of fan suffering has [expletive] pissed me off all week. They won a title less than 30 [expletive] years ago and I've seen them play in a Series.

    Trading Hendricks would be silly. He's pretty good and cheap.

    He "disagrees with the lifestyle". Was asked about it last year I think.

    I'm not super bummed out overall because this season was [expletive] awesome, but with Arrieta very possibly a victim of the "big inning jump" injury/ineffectiveness next year and Hammel clearly not able to be counted upon, I'm not feeling as high on next year as many. At the least we need more pitching.

    It's a lame coincidence that 7 years ago I was so pissed at the Cubs for letting Milwaukee in the playoffs so we had to face LA instead of the free falling Mets, and this year we got the exact opposite (although LA was hardly free falling).

    It's definitely a thing. Someone Tweeted that the league average on balls hit 107 MPH (I'm presuming that was Castro's) was .701.

    I loved that Ernie Johnson said "Will it stay playable?" as if he hasn't watched this entire series.

    I honestly wouldn't bet against Ross having done that on purpose to loosen everyone up
