At this point I'm not sure how much more we are forfeiting offensively with Ross than with Contreras, the way he has been swinging the bat. I trust Joe to make the right call, though, so if he runs Willson out there then I'm on board.

My Internet went out last Friday for no good reason. I was already buying an OTA antenna to watch today because Fox Sports Go on my Roku is hog crap, so thank God it came in today and thank God FOX is the 1 out of the 4 major networks whose signal I can actually get OTA.

I was a nervous wreck during the latter portions of game 5 because I really felt like (and still do) we had a really damn good chance of getting this thing if we pulled it off.

This chart seems to indicate he hasn't swung and miss inside the zone, which can't be right. But it also has a key for balls, which makes no sense. I'm assuming this is some sort of diagram that has all the pitches but that the user can sort by things like swing and miss, so the key for balls would still be there when you select that option.

By my count, 4, and all are either ND or teams on their schedule. The fact this might well be the single most marshmallow-soft schedule the Irish have ever played (USC might literally be the best team they play this year and they're going to go, what, 7-5?) makes the fact that they probably won't make a bowl even more infuriating.
