  1. Still have the lead, activate the bullpen. Edwards, Strop, Rondon, Chapman FTW
  2. Rizzo is going to bust out soon and it'll be glorious
  3. Well, that didn't take long. Navy-ECU postponed to 11/19 because of post-hurricane flooding.

  5. Wait, has Montero suddenly become bad at framing? He's only playing bc of defense so why take him out for a worse defender? It's less the framing and more my dead grandmother could steal on him most of the season. That hasn't been much of a problem the last month or so, though. Seems pretty clear he was injured during that stretch and doesn't appear to be now.
  6. Exactly so it's probably best to stick with what's worked so well: supporting elite pitching with elite defense Plus there's some quirks and funky angles at the park. Not as much in left but I trust Heyward much more than anyone else to navigate that right/right centerfield It's, what, 5 months later now and I still can't freaking believe the catch he made in SF
  7. Is Heyward has a good game offensively even on the table anymore? :| He ripped the horsefeathers out of a double... Last game
  8. the college you like doesn't even play Michigan Texas A&M doesn't play Texas. What's your point. And one major reason they don't play is because your last athletic director was an absolute bozo who Swarbrick hates. Of course if that bozo was capable of hiring a decent coach, they wouldn't have had a vacancy when Harbaugh miraculously became available, so maybe it was a grand plan. The real point of all this is that my team is done as a contender for now and for God knows how long, so bitching about the good fortune bestowed on teams I hate is all I have.
  9. I barely feel like defending ND because they're garbage, but someone, I forget who, went back the last 15 (I think) years and found that ND was basically underrated in the preseason rankings just as often as they were overrated. What is definitely true is that ND is a school that is prone to inspire in-season overreactions (see Texas leaping to #10 for beating them this year).
  10. Also, Michigan can beat everyone 78-0 but they're not going to the playoff without beating Ohio State. MSU being garbage + 8 home games means their schedule is soft as baby horsefeathers this year. In a related story, I'm extremely bitter Michigan fell ass over tea kettle into an outstanding coach because his previous employer was a moron. As if this CFB season didn't suck enough.
  11. The only thing more amusing than watching Brian Kelly and perhaps ND's entire program going down in flames is the fact that every single horsefeathering one of the teams they keep losing to are also losing to everyone they play
  12. I'd like a few more runs before we see how Rondon is holding up. Yeah just go straight to Strop
  13. there are links out there but cant guarantee you wont get computer aids I'm taking advantage of the Sling TV 7-day trial right now. May just pay for a month of it to get me through the playoffs. I am on a Playstation Vue free trial right now and it is outstanding. Definitely dropping DIRECTV for it when the contract is up next month.
