Washington is going to lose again, whether to Wazzu or to Colorado/USC. At that point the winner of the Wisconsin/Penn State game is in, as well as the winner of the Michigan/OSU game. Then Clemson and Bama. Pretty cut and dried. If Washington manages not to lose, then the Big Ten champ probably gets the shaft (although the Penn St/Ohio St thing would be fascinating for the committee to navigate). Not a ton of controversy in Scenario A. Scenario B would be interesting but ultimately I think you can forgive a 3-point road loss in head to head when the losing team has shown itself to be better in the other 11 games.
