I have Pitt out next round and many people have them farther. Those that don't often have Kansas far and are screwed anyway. So, Go Braves! Just look at them go. I hope one day I get to see Ball State do this.

Sorta weird to have them every 3 years, oh well. I believe its going to be every 4 years after 2009. Could be wrong though. You are correct. They're just doing it in 09 to keep from competing with the Winter Olympics. -
One correction, CIE: When the feds raided Anderson's home, there was a file on Bonds with notations on a calendar that seemed to indicate steroid-taking schedules. It was in the SI excerpt of the book. They have more than just vague testimony.

Like 1990, when a certain MAC school in Indiana made the Sweet 16 and almost beat eventual champion UNLV to advance to the Elite 8.:D I hear about that all the time. Wish I'd been here for it, sounds like it was amazing to see.

Cal lost yesterday. Opps...that's right. The ACC is undefeated then, correct? Yes, the ACC currently stands at 6-0, with UNC and NC State in action tomorrow.

Absurd FT differential in favor of the Zags. And no, Ian Eagle, it's not all because IU shoots mostly perimeter. Killingsworth in particular is getting hacked every time he gets the ball with no whistle.

Illinois losing bounces out another one of my Final 4's as Wisconsin was the other. Pitt and LSU are my only ones left. All my Elite 8's are still in it but I fear that if NC State doesn't knock off Texas tomorrow that the Horns will take care of the Mountaineers, who I have coming out of the Atlanta bracket. And at the rate things are going, WV and UCLA making the Final 4 are going to be the keys to my bracket.

The semis should have been Pool 1 winner vs Pool 2 runner-up and vice versa instead of this weird setup. I could be wrong, but I believe it would have been Korea/Cuba and Japan/DR under that setup. -
Illiniguy, it's hard to believe that I was watching Dee Brown three years ago playing against ND in the NCAA 2nd round. He's been a great player for that program for a long time and even as someone who doesn't even watch the Big Ten very often, it'll be hard to imagine Illini basketball without him. IU is the key game of the day for me. If the Hoosiers can win it will undo a lot of the bad stuff that has happened to my bracket today. Vance, congrats to LSU, good luck against the Dukies.

2-3 now today. It's absolutely imperative that LSU, IU and UCLA win. Hard to believe that I've lost 3 more Sweet 16 teams after losing one on the first two days combined.

And some help from UT hoisting 30-footers when they didn't need to and throwing it straight to Shocker players. Unbelievably bad showing for me today so far.

UT needs to win. I can't afford to fall to 0-2 today, especially when Illinois and BC are currently losing as well.

As was any conference that had 4 or more bids. Makes sense, doesn't it? For at least this year, the MVC is definitely a "big" conference.
