With the workhorse Eyre around to face lefties, I doubt he'll be around much longer. -

If he keeps this up, I don't see how he wouldn't make the team. All-Star team is only slightly more legit than Gold Gloves in terms of who is actually deserving.

Are you guys really ignoring the fact that they "got the pitcher on the ropes" in large part by swinging at his first pitch? Hitters with a threat to do something swung early, that doesn't excuse guys like Neifi and Blanco being overly aggressive. Were they good pitches to hit or not? That's all I care about. Considering they were pitches thrown by a human, I doubt they were good ones to hit for Neifi and Blanco. This suggest that either of them MAY be able to hit from a machine (ie batting cage) which is simply preposterous. You guys are out of line. I'm sure there are a lot of girls T-Ball teams out there that would love to have Neifi on their team. Improved
