  1. Glad we're bringing him back. My guess is he's not a starter for us. We'll either sign a guy or draft one.
  2. I was raised in Asheville, so I certainly was on the edge of my seat. Worst way that game could have finished up. I hope they get banned for the rest of this tournament. Pathetic.
  3. I hate saying it, but it really looks like we think our O Line is solid. I'd love McNeill and either of Freeney or Wimbley, if they're cut loose.
  4. Yeah, I saw that and thought the same. Maybe we are waiting on Wimbley to get cut?
  5. Saints got Grubbs.5/36, 16 guaranteed, 10 mill SB
  6. I'm willing to give Davis the bemefit of the doubt, lets see whay happens if we actually decide to use a TE.
  7. Short of a Championship clincher, I can't imagine a better win for us this year. Just awesome. So happy for Lucas.
  8. Davis got 2/6 with a 2.7 mill signing bonus.
  9. That Mullin guy was on CTL a little while ago and said he believes the Bears are still in on Mario and thinks we are the other visit he still supposedly has scheduled. He said there is definitely money left to sign him and McCaskey has told Emery money isn't an issue. The guy is probably just saving face, but hell, I hope he's right.
  10. Biggs says Idonije, Okoye, and Steltz are still possible to bring back. Oh well, I guess we're done with any large contract additions. Still, we have a lot of flexibility, as far as the draft goes.
  11. Laurent Robinson gets 5/32.5 from Jacksonville.
  12. I agree. But, it appears we're going to cut Barber. If we cut Spencer, it'd save us another 4 mill. That probably gets us far enough under to do it. Plus, you could possibly get someone to restructure. Longshot of Mario happening? Absolutely. But until he goes somewhere, I'm still optimistic.
  13. So Mario is evidently leaving Buffalo without a deal. Supposedly has 3 teams wanting him to take visits. Biggs said earlier today we weren't involved "at this time" but I hope like hell that changes, even though we'd definitely have to make some other moves to accomodate it.
  14. I guess with what's been done, I want a nice DE added. Then, in the draft, we can truly go BPA. We can add a DT, WR, CB, OT, and RB through the draft. I guess we neef a TE somewhere too.
  15. Cutler says we're not done adding receivers. Of course, he wants Royal.
  16. Michael Bush is coming in for a visit? Waaay too expensive to be a backup for us.
  17. Nicks gets 5/47.5 from Tampa.
  18. Bears sign Eric Weems to 3 year deal. Again, solid special teams guy, but I think we've frittered away enough money to where the pipe dream known as Mario, has been flushed away.
  19. Black eye? Freudian slip from a poster on this site a year or two ago.
  20. Dolphins probably miss on Peyton, lose out on Wayne and trade Marshall. There is no way I can be convinced they have any plan whatsoever. Go get Flynn and Manningham now? I guess that's the idea that's about to pop into their heads.
  21. Emery confirmed both teams knew about incident.
  22. Anthony Herrera is visiting the Bears today. Omiyale replacement? Hayden and Herrera are both pretty underwhelming guys, unless we look at them as depth, nothing more. As for Marshall, if he IS suspended, I hate to say I don't care, but I don't. We NEED him bigtime and the other guys are basically bought up now. We need to make this work, keep him out of trouble from here on out and keep Jay protected. If we can do that, our offense is going to be very good.
  23. Winston has visits set and Bears aren't one of them. Landry does as well and it doesn't appear we're in on him either now. DE, I guess is top priority, we finished 2nd on Mincey. If we miss on Mario and Wimbley doesn't get cut, do we go after O Line, or maybe Hawthorne? How about adding Manningham to go with Marshall and ending the WR hunt completely?
  24. Right now, I'm hoping Emery is reminding McCaskey and Phillips that money isn't an issue and we have a brand new superstar at DE by the time we all wake up. Who am I kidding, I'm too wired to sleep.
  25. I'd be OK with Wood in AAA to start the year and Wells in the pen, if Shark and Volstad continue to look good.
