    Davell, I told you Ben would answer questions on Paniagua's value as a prospect once he signed. Either that or he just likes me more. Yeah, you're right. Probably on both accounts actually. Ha. He's great and answers most everything from me, but has avoided my Paniagua questions like the plague.

    doesn't that still mean the same thing? I wouldn't think so. Germano could come up as a bullpen arm. Plus, she said nothing was imminent with Demp. I guess I forgot the most important part of what she said, although it still doesn't mean anything, as I doubt they exactly confide in her.

    Someone is going to take a screenshot on you. Better be careful. Yeah, I know. I actually posted the same thing there though. One of their best posters is convinced the guy is legit, while another of their best guys agreed with me. At any rate, it's awesome to get him signed. I hope he projects as a starter, not a reliever.

    I don't think they've said he's unavailable, at least I haven't read that anywhere. For me, the optimal package from them would be Barnes/Cecchini/Owens. Might be asking too much though.

    Our main man, Shaq, went 5 for 5 last night. Making it 36 k's in 37 at bats.

    What's the issue? Nash divorced his wife the day after their baby was born. It was black.........Richardson was traded within days.

    I do think it's kind of awesome that Steve Nash and Jason Richardson's "issue" could get more attention because of this potential deal.

    You assume that other teams are run by idiots who don't understand that more pitchers than the ones being dangled in front of them are available. I think that there are some teams that truly haven't decided what they're doing yet. I doubt the Marlins know yet. Tampa could decide either direction evidently. Do you think there is any chance that Ryan Dempster will be the only pitcher available? Of course not. I think if not for his injury, he'd already be gone.

    The other problem is more pitchers becoming available. as far as the Cards go, Tyrell Jenkins and John Gast would be an excellent return for Dempster.

    Prieto went 2, K'ing 2. 0's everywhere else. I wonder what they see him as? Starter or reliever?

    Raley went 7, gave up 5 hits, 4 walks, and K'd 4. No runs. Assuming we move some pitching within these next couple of weeks, I want him to get a nice look. Moreso than Rusin and definitely before we throw all our retreads more starts.

    He seems to DH a lot, does he have a position? He's played a little SS and 3B, but AZPhil said back in EXST that he'd made quite a bit of progress at 2B. With his hitting, adding some pop, it'd make him a serious plus for us at 2B.

    Amaya hit his 4th homer. If he's developing average power, he's becoming extremely interesting.

    Wouldn't be sexy, but I'd love to see us a pick or two from trades. Granted, Dempster and Garza are probably the only two pieces we may be dealing that could even garner a pick.
