  3. how many outs have LaRussa given the Rangers today? 6? 7?

  5. i think that's pretty fair to say right now, but i will defend him in that he doesn't have the benefit of play-action passing other QBs have; i'm pretty sure defenses just laugh when he fakes handoffs Is Javad Best and whoever their backup is (i forget) part of the Lions friendly supporting cast? It's hard to be great when you are little threat to run. I havent seen their games except the Bears one, but I'd be willing to bet teams are dropping 6+ back more often than not. for purposes of padding his passing numbers, yes; only Forte has more yards/game or YAC than Best amongst RB
  6. there aren't many QBs with a friendlier supporting cast than Stafford's got, and that masks some of the problems he's had no pressure: 106.5 QB rating under pressure: 60.9 QB rating (for comparison's sake, Cutler's split is 88.4/74.4) given our breakdowns in pass protection of late, it's pretty clear why we're struggling on offense i think that's pretty fair to say right now, but i will defend him in that he doesn't have the benefit of play-action passing other QBs have; i'm pretty sure defenses just laugh when he fakes handoffs
  7. my point is we're also a different team if you have a QB accurate enough to consistently convert on 3rd downs, or if we have a QB with a quick release/play recognition to avoid the pass rush, which Hill gives us i guess i'm a little down on Stafford compared to his inflated perception in the media right now, but he's still barely played a full season's worth of games for his career and just 23 so i'm not saying i've lost hope long-term, either

  9. it doesn't sound like it, but i'm not too worried either way Linehan's conservative playcalling recently has effectively moved us to a dink and dunk offense, which suits Hill much better anyway
  10. per FO, Indy has the best chance at 0-16, with 1% likelihood it's not something that should really even be possible, unless your team is coached by Rod Marinelli with Millen as the architect
  11. it's Dan Orlvosky time!
  12. Stafford is annoyingly inaccurate when he gets any type of pressure on him so many bad missed tackles; that's the reason we lost this game
  13. i don't think OU is going to cover the 29 point spread

  15. that game was an instant classic
  16. Gerald Laird as a PR is a concept i'm not quite sure i can grasp
  17. YESSSSSS and what's that, no Freese or Berkman? pity.
  18. watching TLR-managed games is just the most interminable exercise
  19. and wow, another insane play by Andrus and Kinsler
