What the hell does that mean? Sorry, that wasn't very clear. A better OPS in the #2 hole = more runs = 4-2 lead instead of 2-2 tie = we don't need a big hit by Neifi late in the game to win. OBP. I did mean OPS. Some extra base hits instead of slap singles wouldn't hurt.

Whether we think Pie is ready or not, it is pretty clear by now that Hendry and Fleita think he IS. They have both stated he would have been up this summer if not for the injury. He will get a REAL opportunity in spring training, IMO.
If Neifi had done that, it would be " Come on, he was being aggresive, dude, trying to make things happen, man. He just got unlucky that the umpire made a bad call, dude."
I really think Zambrano is like me on MVP 2005. If I lose the possibility of a perfect game/no hitter/shutout early on, I lose focus and give up a bunch of runs. :-)
