I don't know. I think the rules are confusing but some of these issues are simple - if you add a player, you put a guy on the DL or drop a player; when you take a guy off the DL, you drop a player. Some of these are basic fbb mistakes that lots of managers seem to be making here. I do think some of that may be attributable to settings that let people have illegal rosters but some of that is on each manager.

They're not going to move him unless it's a good deal. There's no reason to dump him for nothing. And Theo appreciates the value of defense and cost controlled years too much to undervalue Barney in a stupid trade. I'd be surprised if he's dealt.

We already have 3 exceptions in a population of no more than 60 and that assumes each team has 2 top starters, which I don't think anyone would concede. I don't think this is as cut and dry as you're making it out to be, sulley.

turner's k/9 tell me that he'll never be top of the rotation. i mean, doesn't a serious ace-prospect have to be at least over 9 at every level? i mean, that's a minimum requirement. if you can't strike guys out, you can't dominate. if you can't dominate, you're back-end. Greg Maddux says Hello, as do several HOF pitchers from the early 1900s (Walter Johnson included). It's amazing how few guys Maddux struck out in the minors. Glavine was never a 9+ K guy in the majors either. But he at least struck out everyone in the lowest levels. Maddux just never struck out guys in bunches, even in A ball.

He was ridiculously unlucky this season. The fact that's he's has a more even run of luck lately doesn't negate that his numbers to date are dragged down by his terrible luck to start. Repeating the month of the year doesn't address the point since TT and others already agreed that he hasn't been unlucky lately.

Walker obviously is. I don't remember who the other guy is. I noticed you quickly dropped Desmond, so the new guy can just drop David Price and put in a waiver claim for that gem...

Counting nothing is better than counting statistics as bad as errors.

Players not named cj Wilson. For example, on the year, De Aza and Reddick have been roughly equal to Ethier (recently traded for 2 top prospects) and over the last month, my whole OF has outperformed Ethier. De Aza is also exempt this year.
