I can think of a few good manager candidates. Productive Outs (fka Dobson) and the guy that used to be Cro Magnon (forgot his current name). Been in leagues with both and they're both good managers. I've also been in a league with Erik and deucebaseman. If you think this league can't get any worse, you'd be sorely mistaken.

Do we need to vote on this or can we just turn over the keys? I get the sense that some owners aren't going to be back next year, so it'd be great to get an active commissioner in place so we can keep the league running for those of us that plan to come back.

The dodgers using their leverage will have no impact on how Theo deals with them going forward. Nor should it.

Plus the best Purdue team in almost a decade is awaiting you in week two after traveling back from Ireland. I'm not a Danny Hope fan but I gotta think a short week, jetlag, over-confidence, and looking down the road to all those ranked teams plays in our favor. I'm not sure any of those will be a problem in week 2. This isn't a team coming off a big bowl win or something. Heck they don't even have a QB yet. ND isn't at a place where it's looking pasta my opponents yet.

Half those teams probably won't be in the top 25 at years end. I really do hate preseason polls.

No offense but I don't think this league is the top priority for anyone. But if you can't spend a couple of minutes a week on it, what's the point of agreeing to manage a team? I can't believe it's fun to someone that spends no time on it at all and it's frustrating to other managers.

Granted pre-season polls are meaningless but...3, 4, 8, 13, and 18 on the schedule. Gulp.
