    I do have some good news for everyone in the fact that Robertson is starting for my fantasy team, and that ususally bodes well for whoever they are pitching against.

    He has gotten hit this inning, but that was bad luck on the 1st 2 hits. The bloop by Granderson and the fly ball by Polanco, which should have been caught.

    Wasn't he on 2nd? How did he not score? Made the terrible mistake of thinking Juan might actually make a play and tagged up.

    Didn't Isringhausen initially get moved to the pen because of shoulder problems and not being able to handle the grind of starting every 5th day? Just because Kerry has done it in the past, which I don't believe Isrinhausen did, doesn't mean he'll be able to do it again. A 100 mph fastball and wicked slider are a pretty deadlt combo (see Lidge, Brad).

    I'm sure he was already up and warming once Ohman retired Lopez in the 7th. Especially with Griffey and Dunn to follow. Makes sense for him to come into the game in that spot. There's plenty of time to get Guzman up during the last half inning, it was 6-2 after the first HR, and 8-2 after the second HR with only one out. I'm hoping they are saving Guzman to take Rusch's spot in the starting rotation. Now that I would love to be true.

    I think after the giant crap Rusch took last time out, you would be inclined to give Guzman another shot.

    How is baseball random when the same pitchers win 20 games (ok, have low ERAs and good K/BB ratios) and same hitters lead the league in avg., HR, and OBP? It's not random, it has to do with throwing good pitches, swinging at good pitches, and management having enough of a clue to put the guys on the field that can do that. There are small things that are random, but most things that are good indicators of what will happen are not.

    Actually, when I was in Pittsburgh, I found that my favorite Pennsylvania beer is Yuengling Amber. Very tasty.

    You aren't getting Soriano short-term. He's going to be looking for something like a 5 year $60m deal. Yeah, I was more referring to getting Loretta short term due to age. I agree, no way soriano takes a 2-3 yr deal.

    Anybody know if Colvin is a dead pull hitter? Sure looks that way as much as he's pulling off the outside pitches.

Looks to have good patience and a little more pop than his brother. I guess we shouldn't count on the Cubs looking at him.
