    When has everything ever worked out for the Cubs? It is technically possible, but I'd have to agree with BP that their chances of making it are about 1%. 0.72791% as of this morning. it's actually worth dropping a 20 on the cubs to make the playoffs. :lol: The joy of the Cubs making the playoffs at this point would far outweigh the monetary aspect. No, wait. That would be roughly, say - if its 0.7%, that's about 150/1, right? - $20 at 150/1 would pay back $3020. That's £1,640 in my money. It might be worth it.

    From a personal point of view, I'd like to see the Cubs facing the Royals. I've enjoyed a few Royals games on MLBtv this year, (probably more than Royals fans have enjoyed, actually) and though I've not seen too much of the other teams being bandied about (Well, a few Tigers games) that enjoyment level was high enough. Cubs @ Royals please.

    Hooray indeed! However, I have to attend a farewell party for a friend, so I will not be able to hear the game. :( (for both his departure and my lack of hearing, but) :) for the Jaxx thus far. Go Jaxx!

    I'd like to see the A's in the play-offs period. As for disproving Joe Morgan, anything they do he'll be able to explain away somehow.... :roll:

    Well, I've gone for it, but its little short of random. Don't expect much. I might improve as the season goes on, though.

    The Venezuelan national team could do with him, in whatever guise. Though, from what I saw tonight, Huddersfield Town could do with him too. And that I would pay to see. Though I pay to see them without Z, so you can argue a point about it being inconsequential. OK, you win, he can stay with the Cubs. Edit - is it the done thing to argue with oneself? Too late, I guess.

    Sometimes I really want to feel sorry for Neifi, because its not HIS fault he plays every game, but then I realise that he DOES do things that make it worse. Like this.

    I, too, am 2-1. But my three were against St Louis. In relation to tonight, GO CUBS! my 3 were against Milwaukee. Dang. If it were against a team WORSE than the Cubbies, I might be able to claim something.
