    Local sports radio is citing a Dallas radio station and reporting that since Sean Lee tore his ACL yesterday in OTAs, the Cowboys have contacted Brian Urlacher about coming out of retirement.

    By this logic, if his ERA were 5.75 but he was 7-1 winning a ton of 8-6 games, he would be more valuable. Genius. Welcome to the HOF candidacy of Jack Morris. Jack Morris' postseasons are what push him into the HOF in my mind. That 10 inning shutout along with Kerry's 20 strikeout game are the best pitched games I've ever watched.

    Haven't paid much attention to the Giants this year, but their line-up is nothing special outside a couple of guys, especially compared to LA.

    I'm probably more purist than most of you on here, but I reconciled that because it obviously will be good for the team. All that said, even from a purely aesthetic standpoint those pictures are beautiful.

    I really hope this is right, but I think there's an enormous question as to whether he would resign. He seems to be counting the days until he's gone, especially when ex Cubs he talks to openly tell him to get the [expletive] outta there.

    They said the bullpens will be under the Bud Bleachers, so I am assuming that they would be widening the peephole. It would be cool if you could watch relievers warming up from the street too.

    Is this new or did I just miss it before? I understand there is a definite player safety issue and that justifies the change, but as a fan I will miss being able to clearly see who is warming up at any time. I believe that is new to the most recent proposal, or at the very least it wasn't in the proposal approved last summer. With the new signage/video boards they should be able to pretty easily signify who's warming up, that's how it is in most modern parks. As I understand what I've read here, they are removing some of the OF wall bricks to make room for the bullpens. I'm assuming this is to put up a gate or fence where you can see them warming up.

    We went to a place called Toup's meatery which is awesome. They have an app that's bone marrow smothered in foie and roasted, then smothered in escargo and served in a lengthwise cut femur bone. It's incredible, but after you're done they bring out a bottle of Jameson and pour you a shot using the bone as a funnel, so you get all the pieces of foie and marrow washed down with the whiskey. Pure food porn.

    Chicago banned foie gras?!? What is this? Almost every organ meat is delicious done right. Foie, sweetbreads, kidneys, pates, liver mousse, hog's head cheese...

    Are you counting on Baez being a better hitter than Castro in 2015? And we have a non-sucky third baseman and his name is Luis. Hell yes. He could be a starter on a playoff team. He's also my favorite non-star player right now, following Hector Villanueva, Hee Seop Choi and Shawon Dunston.

    No. I mostly loathe ESPN. I agree that they manufacture [expletive] to keep people watching. No, I think we agree on what the draft is. Where our disconnect lies is just how far into "artistic license" TV producers go in producing reality shows, and also Sam's reaction to being filmed for "The Michael Sam Show" or whatever.

    OK, this is it. This was my reaction, not something to be proven or disproven. ESPN is ESPN. It's a big deal for the draftees but the ones who are usually followed have likely been in front of a camera several times. Sam was the only draftee I am aware of that had a production crew there to film an ongoing show about his story by directors who make reality shows on television, most of which are filled with staged scenes. That is exactly why I think it is at least reasonable to assume that the OWN people were more than just observers capturing the moment on film. It wouldn't surprise me if the cake and the feeding each other was all their idea, as well coaching him to play to the camera. It's what they do. You disagree. Again, this was my reaction and subsequent opinion. Others saw it as a completely organic moment, so be it. There really is nothing more to it than that.
