  1. I'm pretty sure that is the offensive strategy. Jason Collins has hit two long jumpers tonight, which I think doubles his total for the season.
  2. Wow, Drew put Horford back in, and he got his 3rd foul almost immediately.
  3. I'm curious how much of the lack of energy is due to the week of no game.
  4. If Atlanta keeps shooting 60% and the Bulls keep shooting 30%, this could be a series.
  5. Can't risk him getting his 3rd too early, or else he might miss a bunch of the game.
  6. Really, it doesn't matter much whether Miami wins by 20 or 2, this was a game Miami need a lot worse than Boston, so the series is hardly over.
  7. This Heat-Celtics series is a hearty laugh at the concept of centers in the NBA.
  8. White Sox-Orioles game on. Gregg pitching, Konerko hitting. Stone mentions "Paule really tore up Gregg while he was a closer with the Cubs, 7-11 lifetime." I think to myself "Wait, Gregg was the closer of the Cubs for like 2 months, he couldn't have faced him much." Gregg vs. White Sox as Cubs closer: 2 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 2 K's, 1 W, 1 SV. Konerko vs. Gregg with Cubs: 0-1, K. Bang up research, Steve.
  9. http://www.pollsb.com/photos/50/47005-code_red.jpg BAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRFFFFFF. And God bless this cavern of a ballpark. You earned his particular form of torture. DRINK IT.

  11. He's just lucky he didn't have to run into a stud PG like Darren Collison And now both are again playing teams that basically don't have a PG.
  12. If there's one thing I can admire about Rondo it's his ability to finish at the rim.
  13. "Rondo had a great first round after struggling to end the season." OK, quick guess, who was the opposing PG in the first round? (Hint: Billups was injured)
  14. Thibs wins coach of the year. It's official.
  15. Drop Pena. Add Braun. Hate life.

The only real problem the offense has is an inability to score runs, due largely to a lack of walks and extra base hits. Getting hits, though, is not the offense's problem, and it's unrealistic to expect the offense to average over 5 runs a game, so in reality it's the pitching that needs to improve for the Cubs to do better.
  17. This is the best night in the history of tanking.
  18. LeShoure isn't the kind of guy who'll make anyone say "wow" but he catches the ball very well, runs hard and makes good cuts, and though i'm no expert on this, I would certainly call him a willing blocker.... I would have loved to have him on the Bears to back up Forte and be the guy around the goal line... not a huge guy but someone I think would find a way to get in the end zone I like Leshoure, but I wouldn't give up that much unless I thought I was getting a premiere tailback who can make a huge impact. I don't think that RB exists in this draft be it Ingram or Leshoure. true, hadn't considered what they gave up That was the key to my comment. Taking Leshoure was a really good idea, giving up a 3rd and 4th and swapping spots in the 5th and 7th to get him wasn't. Keep in mind, they swapped up in the 5th and 7th.
  19. Houston selects Brandon Harris, CB Miami
  20. Pats trade down again, now Houston's pick.
  21. Browns select Greg Little, WR UNC
  22. Ravens select Torrey Smith, WR Maryland
  23. Lions trade up, and draft LeShoure.
  24. Pats draft an RB, but not the one I thought they would: Shane Vereen, RB California
  25. Expecting the Patriots to take at least one Illinois player in the next 5 picks.
