  1. I figure if Massie dropped this far, something must be wrong with him.
  2. He's scoring on a single anyway, it's an unnecessary move.
  3. I didn't know he projected as a full back.
  4. Keeping the ball down, no walks. No strikeouts either. Wonder how often a pitcher has an outing without either.
  5. Harper was called up today, as Ryan Zimmerman went to the DL.
  6. Golden State won their draft tiebreaker coin toss and will now keep their pick as long as nobody passes them in the lottery. Other draft tiebreakers: Cleveland over New Orleans for third Sacramento over New Jersey for fifth New York over Dallas over Utah for 16th LA Clippers over Atlanta for 22nd LA Lakers over Memphis for 24th Chicago over San Antonio for 29th
  7. Philly's SB Nation blog thinks particularly highly of the Sixers' chances in the playoffs.
  8. Bulls playoff schedule: http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/playoffs_2012.html As expected, they kick off the playoffs at noon Saturday.
  9. Early (totally biased) thoughts: CHI d PHI in 6 MIA d NYK in 5 IND d ORL in 4 BOS d ATL in 6 SAS d UTA in 4 OKC d DAL in 6 LAL d DEN in 6 MEM d LAC in 5 CHI d BOS in 5 MIA d IND in 5 SAS d MEM in 6 OKC d LAL in 7 CHI d MIA in 7 SAS d OKC in 6 CHI d SAS in 6
  10. So, because he's white and works hard, he's comparable to Theriot?
  11. Early thoughts on playoff matchups? I think Mavs-Thunder is easily the most interesting first round matchup, although Atlanta-Boston and Memphis-LA Clippers should be closer.
  12. Packers get Nick Perry. After no defensive linemen go in the top 10 picks, that makes 8 since.
  13. Yes. Finals tiebreakers are head to head, then record vs. opposing conference.
  14. Funniest subplot of the night: In order for Golden State to keep their first round pick, they have to lose tonight, win the coin flip for the 7 spot, and not have the lottery pick a team behind them.
  15. Obviously the Bears' draft room had him rated higher than the other DE options for some reason. Just hope they're right.
  16. Lions get Reiff, Steelers get DeCastro, and now it's the Pats turn again.
  17. I just don't get the crazed outrage, seeing as McClellin was the consensus second best defensive player available and there were questions about Jones. Be disappointed they didn't snag an OL, sure, but it wasn't really the reach it's being bitched about as right now.
  18. Also, the Heat lost by 40 to Washington. It's a little funny that this meaningless last game of the season is going to affect point differential and power ratings so much. :P
  19. It'd be surprising if Detroit didn't go OL here.
  20. Pats snag Chandler Jones, apparently surprised and disappointed that McClellin didn't make it to them.
  21. So...you know nothing and are just spitballing streams of concsiousness again?
  22. The biggest need for the Bears right now is probably linemen on either side, and McClellin projects as more of a linebacker. He was highly rated, but just a bit puzzling with two projected stud linemen still on the board at the slot.
  23. Pats traded up to 20. Reported they wanted McClellin, so curious who they're snagging here.
  24. I'm not sure why folks are so completely baffled, as he was the second best defensive player on the board after Chandler Jones, and I wasn't really too fond of Jones. The only real head scratcher is why they didn't go OL with DeCastro and Reiff on the board.
  25. The highest rated defensive player on the board after Chandler Jones.
