  1. Champion Baptist College is playing their fourth and final D1 opponent tonight, currently trailing 3-9 Southern U 99-10. Southern set the NCAA record for unanswered points to start a game with 44.
  2. The real question is, was Cutler the best player on either team yesterday?
  3. As for Illinois, they're an odd beast this year, with only 3 players returning with any meaningful minutes in Egwu, Abrams and Bertrand. Two incoming transfers, Ray Rice and Jon Ekey, provide the bulk of the new minutes, and both have been the best offensive players the team has. Freshmen Kendrick Nunn, Malcolm Hill, Jaylon Tate, Austin Colbert and Maverick Morgan are gradually getting into the flow of play more, with Tate arguably already the best PG option on the team. Guard-wise, Abrams feels like he has to lead, which leads to terrible shot selection for a player that just can't score. Rice and Ekey are the best outside shot options until Nunn gets going. Front-court, it's all on Egwu until Colbert and Morgan step it up, and yes, those are the only three front court options on the team this season. As long as Egwu stays out of foul trouble, Illinois is fantastic. Soon as he goes down, their rebounding and post presence disappears completely, and they can be beaten by anyone.
  4. B1G predictions: 1. Michigan State 14-4 2. Ohio State 13-5 3. Wisconsin 13-5 4. Iowa 12-6 5. Michigan 11-7 6. Minnesota 9-9 7. Indiana 9-9 8. Illinois 8-10 9. Purdue 6-12 10. Penn State 6-12 11. Nebraska 5-13 12. Northwestern 2-16
  5. Great defense, avert your eyes offense.
  6. The sheer amount of people blaming Cutler for this on FB is enough to make me delete FB.
  7. You can not let anyone behind you, Conte. Terrible.
  8. I'd say having anyone fall on a live ball that was an easy scoop and 6 would have been a better outcome than ignoring everyone and giving up a TD.
  9. it'll be 13 by the time the offense gets the ball again Only if the D manages to force another fumble they forget about.
  10. The only thing stupider than my excessive critique of Cutler is your excessive love for him because he throws hard The only thing stupider than your excessive critique of Cutler is your bizarre theory that other people never criticize Cutler. Which is why when I state the obvious you jump on me. Makes no sense. You are so far from the realm of logic, there is nothing obvious.
  11. It's not worth the 15 yard penalty.

  13. Trestman should just go all out here on in, and never punt again.
  14. Discount double pick.
  15. So you're saying he looks invincible in practice.
  16. Matt Flynn wouldn't have made that mistake.
  17. I preferred the amusing scenario of Baltimore and Miami winning, so if SD won, Miami was in, and if SD lost, Baltimore was in.
  18. Well, that was a good second half.
  19. Wichita State has a legitimate chance to get through the regular season undefeated, since the MVC is down this year (mostly because Creighton isn't in it) and their non-con hasn't featured a single top 20 team (best team on their schedule is St. Louis). So, when everyone is clamoring for them to get a 1 seed two months from now, keep that in mind.
  20. Isn't that the way things are now? LeBron's Miami deal was technically a sign and trade. Teams have Bird rights of going over max, but it still counts against the cap. If a team could offer above max and only have max count against the cap, they'd be in better position to surround their best player with other good players.
  21. 10 months hiatus just to come back and post about GB. Haha. He's certainly more level-headed than 50% of the posters in most Bears game threads. You sure? All I see to remember is him going ape [expletive] after the Packers lost a game at Soldier Field in December 2008. I'm too lazy to dig up the post. I think you have him confused with someone else. Plus you are a bit psycho...2008? Really?

  23. ESPN reporting Tanaka has been posted, and there will be no bid process. All teams can negotiate with him, and whoever signs him will pay $20M to his Japanese team.
  24. I blame alcohol and vicodin. Insert Xavier/BYU/Indiana into bottom of at-large teams. Mizzou/Arkansas/Illinois/Butler/ND are just out.
  25. Also, Baltimore is the only AFC team that can make the playoffs with a loss, as if Miami does lose, they lose the tiebreaker to the NY Jets.
