Wichita State has a legitimate chance to get through the regular season undefeated, since the MVC is down this year (mostly because Creighton isn't in it) and their non-con hasn't featured a single top 20 team (best team on their schedule is St. Louis). So, when everyone is clamoring for them to get a 1 seed two months from now, keep that in mind.

Isn't that the way things are now? LeBron's Miami deal was technically a sign and trade. Teams have Bird rights of going over max, but it still counts against the cap. If a team could offer above max and only have max count against the cap, they'd be in better position to surround their best player with other good players.

ESPN reporting Tanaka has been posted, and there will be no bid process. All teams can negotiate with him, and whoever signs him will pay $20M to his Japanese team. -

Also, Baltimore is the only AFC team that can make the playoffs with a loss, as if Miami does lose, they lose the tiebreaker to the NY Jets.

Miami has to control their own destiny, they are the 6 seed right now They don't, because they win the 3 way tiebreaker, but not the 2-way tiebreakers. So if they all win, Miami goes to the playoffs, and if they all lose, Miami goes to the playoffs, and if just Miami wins, Miami goes to the playoffs, but if just one of Baltimore/San Diego also wins, then Miami does not go to the playoffs.
