No, he just really likes the Heat. Remember when people legitimately thought that Rondo was better than Rose? The guy can't even make a wide open 16 foot jump shot.

Not really. There was that report of the Bulls being interested in Anthony Parker, but there hasn't been a whole lot besides that. I'll take a 3-2 trip. The last two games have been fun to watch against pretty good teams. Except the report about interest in Lee (which pretty much all the local beat guys indicate is true - they've been scouting the hell out of him), the reports of interest in Mayo (but Memphis's asking price being too high - which may or may not be the case after the suspension), and the reports of interest in Smith. The Lee thing is the only trade I've seen that actually tossed out what the Bulls would be giving out. Dealing for Mayo and Smith makes sense on paper but I never saw what the Bulls would give up besides what fans thought it might take. Yeah, I never thought that there was much substance to the Mayo and Smith rumors.

This is the worst college basketball has been ever since I've started paying attention to it. The end of the bubble is monumentally weak this season.

Yeah, a 9-9 mark in conference play will get you in this season. Not sure what Illinois was doing at the end of the first half, but they actually played pretty well for most of the game. Welcome back, McCamey.

He had some amazing San Diego teams that lost on some fluky stuff in the playoffs (I remember a game where they picked off a Brady pass on 4th down and subsequently fumbled it to give the Pats a 1st down to allow them to win, holy crap thats some bad luck) I'll take Sloan over Schottenheimer. If it weren't for that Jordan guy, they would've won a couple of championships.

Why would Smith have been considered a better prospect? Smith was considered a better prospect because of his athleticism. I remember that was a big reason why San Francisco drafted him. Rodgers fell because there wasn't a lot of need for quarterbacks that season.

Somehow, SIU beat Wichita State last night at Wichita. I think it's safe to say that Wichita's on the outside looking in after that horrible loss to us.

They were able to swindle Memphis for Gasol a few years back, although Marc Gasol has become a better player than anybody really thought at the time. Never question the idiocy of some NBA GM's.

But he watches the games. His eyes wouldn't deceive him, would they? funny, that was sneakys exact reasoning behind his link. Bishop is good, but among the best? I dont buy it. Best of the second tier maybe. I don't think he's first-tier good either, but the dude was pretty awesome this season.

I'm curious to hear your explanation, because by all accounts he's a nice guy. He doesn't get in trouble, he doesn't have 12 children running around, he's not whoring himself out to the media. If you want to let loose on Favre for being a douchebag, go right ahead, but Rodgers really has not done anything deserving of douchedom. Almost all of my Bears friends actually like Rodgers because he appears to be the opposite of Favre.
