  1. And a Hawks fan. Not exactly breaking news.
  2. The bad home play is bewildering. I don't understand it. Seabrook's been a mess again tonight.
  3. we're predestined to lose that final game against the Nets, costing us a better seed That's still probably the worst regular season loss we've had in the last 13 years.
  4. Meatballs = delicious food. Meatheads = stupid people.
  5. Yep. That game was awesome.
  6. Now the timing for bringing in Hanie makes much, much more sense. What the [expletive] were Pam Oliver and Chris Myers doing on Sunday?
  7. Probably because he's had to do everything by himself for most of the season. I'm sure my back would be hurting if I had to do as much as he's done this year.
  8. Yeah, don't know what got into him. This will probably sound dumb, but last year with Milwaukee he would have these "spurts" where he would play above his head. Must be doing it here. He's actually been pretty solid for us given the circumstances.
  9. I agree. I almost feel like there is some sort of national Chicago hate. I know that can't be true though. Maybe around the midwest there is since we are the big city or whatever and we have loud and boisterous fans. But I've also noticed a lot of people randomly hate on DRose as well. And surprisingly when the Hawks were making a run to the Stanley Cup last year, seemingly neutral team's fans flat out didn't want us to win the Stanley Cup. Maybe its just what I've noticed and isn't really the case with a larger sample size, or maybe I'm just noticing the haters due to being a proud Chicago supporter, I am not sure. I definitely noticed the Grossman hate and the Cutler hate is right there in front of everyone. But who hates D-Rose? And most neutral observers that I saw wanted us to win the Cup last year.
  10. It's like Skiles burned the scouting report on Thomas. The only thing he can do on offense is shoot a wide open 16 footer. To be fair, it's not like he played for the Bucks or anything last year. Oh wait.
  11. What the hell is that?
  12. I did ribs yesterday. Probably steak or prime rib for the Super Bowl.
  13. is he a UFA or a RFA? and if he is a UFA, what would keep him in GB as a #4 as opposed to going to Chicago as a #1? I believe he's restricted, which is why I don't think he's going anywhere.
  14. Even with all the drops, I don't think we're going to part ways with Jones. He's damn good for a #4 wideout. He's easily one of the more frustrating players I can remember watching, but he makes some incredible catches as well like the one he had last week and another one earlier in the season against Minnesota.
  15. Most teams do that. Like I said earlier in the thread, Maurkice Pouncey was carted off the field with a clear leg injury, remained in the locker room, came back out on crutches hobbling around and his return was "questionable." I don't know why teams do it, but most of the time I've seen them as questionable – even with concussions where it's obvious the player's done for the day. That's what I said earlier in the thread. I'd say 75% of the time when an injury occurs, the sideline report says that the player's return is questionable, no matter the severity of the injury.
  16. LOL please tell me there are only like 7 votes. 33,217 votes And Cutler has 45% of the vote, 11% ahead of Vick. ESPN is to blame for most of that. They have said time and time again (Berman even said it yesterday) that Roethlisberger "overcame adversity" this season. They've said how Vick has done an outstanding job with his second chance and how he should be in the MVP race. As for Cutler? Rick Reilly writes a [expletive] article about him and most of the personalities just tear him apart for "not caring about the game." Somehow a rapist and a felon are more likable than a guy who's been clean all throughout his life. There's something wrong with that.
  17. At least he didn't my QB has the killer instinct. Heart of a lion. The same "lion" that played in 11 games this year. I don't really get why players around the league love Vick so much. He had a very good year, but people were saying he should have won the MVP even though they completely missed the fact that he only played in 11 games this season. That [expletive] even pisses me off. I guess it's because I'm not much of a Vick fan, but the point remains.
  18. Like when Cutler was sitting next to him on the bench, playbook in hand pointing things out? I never saw that. Not saying it didn't happen, but when they had a long shot of Hanie staring at Polaroids on the bench, Cutler was right next to staring into space like he had another concussion. And I remember hearing them say he was questionable to return. If the Bears are releasing that info, then they need to change their procedures for that. That only helps fuel the fire that he is quitting on the team. They always say the return is questionable.
  19. i'm not trying to stir the pot, but how is what MJD said worse than what was said by Asante Samuel, or Dockett, Curry? Mostly the hypocrisy due to MJD sitting out the final two games with an undisclosed knee injury while Jacksonville needed just one win. Dockett missed a few games this season so he's not really one to talk. Although if you follow him on Twitter, you'd realize that the guy is a complete dumbass.
  20. Hey, SIU lost to an 0-8 team in conference play last night. Keep earning that $750K, Chris.
  21. Not even in retrospect. The Bears would've won that game if Urlacher takes that the distance. Our offense wasn't the same after the INT and obviously, that's a credit to the Bears defense.
  22. Or the Packers. McCarthy did the same thing once or twice, which is even stranger than Lovie doing it. Our 3rd down and short playcalling is easily MM's worst feature as a playcaller. Holy mother of god. I'm really not sure where to find it, but I know stats like this exist. I'm pretty sure we have to be among the league's worst at converting on 3rd and 2 or less. Seems like Bears and Packers fans both say the same thing about our coaches every time we square off.
  23. That site is a cesspool.
  24. The PI on Jones at around the 5 yard line was very questionable, but that was basically cancelled out when Rodgers threw the INT. Other than that, the refs weren't as bad as people were indicating. There were quite a few holds that were missed on both teams. Raji was held in the end zone, Matthews had his face mask grabbed and was held a few times, and Peppers was held a few times as well. At least they were consistent with the no-calls on the holds.
  25. I already said I would shut up about it since what you said there would be correct on the last page. I was thinking that knee sprain wasn't so vague and torn ligaments was a different thing instead of where if they don't know what it is, they call it a knee sprain and after MRI, can be a torn ligaments. Do I have a question though (someone can help me out here)? Say you got a torn knee ligament... Is it possible to be walking around like Cutler was and not have a noticeable limp? Cuz it seems to me that he didn't limp at all when they show him walking. Just curious... (most people I knew who had torn ACLs either were on crutches or in wheelchairs.. they couldn't put any pressure on that leg) He definitely had a limp. I think when Javon Walker tore his ACL for us a few years back, he was able to walk off the field under his own power.
