  1. That one is also sexual.
  2. Awesome.
  3. As I said, college basketball is terrible this year.
  4. Don't worry. You still have a game left against SIU.
  5. Did they really need that big of a bandage?
  6. College basketball, as a whole, is really brutal this season.
  7. Holy [expletive], I didn't know Brewer had that in him.
  8. Yes, because the Chicago media is filled with homers. You're finally catching on. Yes, they are. They're some of the folks carrying pitchforks trying to rail Jay Cutler out of town, but alas, they aren't the greatest media in the world (Green Bay). I know this is going back to an argument that was had the week during the NFC title game, but the Chicago media is extremely bipolar. They can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Rose does and says all the right things, and can do no wrong in the eyes of the media. Jay Cutler is guarded and stand offish, so the media is just waiting for him to slip up so they can tear him apart. Well that's true.
  9. Yes, because the Chicago media is filled with homers. You're finally catching on.
  10. The refs in this game have been pretty brutal. A few minutes ago, Kurt picked up his 5th foul while just playing great defense on Howard down low. Looking good right now.
  11. I really hope McCamey doesn't start the next game.
  12. The ASG is in 3 weeks. Let's say Bosh comes back in a week, as speculated. I'm not sure either Bosh or the Heat even want him to play in that game two weeks removed from an injury. Really, I feel the same way about Boozer. He's injured enough, let the guy have a week off. You really think mr. "I just want to be on TV" would pass up an opportunity to play on another all star team as part of the heat trio? The guy's already missed two weeks with a sprained ankle and I'm pretty sure he's going to miss at least another week. The Heat might just have him rest until after the All-Star break, at this rate.
  13. He should be but Guenther's old ass probably won't fire him.
  14. It's time. Bruce has to go.
  15. Tisdale is a [expletive] joke.
  16. I [expletive] hate Davis and Tisdale. Soft little fucks.
  17. He's by far giving the best effort in that gym tonight. I rag on Davis all the time, but he's at least showing some effort. The rest of the team, not so much.
  18. He's been a total no-show in three of the last four games. Four of the last five if you count tonight.
  19. They never do, it seems like. How the hell is this team ranked?
  20. You can definitely make the same statement with Rose, especially since Boozer missed the first part of the year and Noah's missed the second half.
  21. Right. I've seen a defender put a hand on Peyton Manning's helmet, which has resulted in a flag. If that warrants a penalty, the Peppers hit definitely deserved a flag.
  22. It was a penalty. That's the classic definition of a helmet to helmet hit on a QB.
  23. Well, hating a team because of something an outside person does is pretty weird to me. Deciding to like a team because of one player is also very strange. To be honest I don't get Rockford being split, either. That city is well within the Illinois border, and Chicago is much, much closer than Green Bay. Those people have no more claim to being Packers than someone living in Philly would have rooting for NY. And Wisconsin doesn't care if Rockford people root for the Pack. They hate Rockford. It's Illinois. You're all FIBs to them. It wasn't just an outside person. It was quite a number of people. And the [expletive] that I got that year for going 4-12 while the Bears won the division was ridiculous. I was getting [expletive] from people that were so called Packer fans the year before. What the hell is that [expletive] about? I've always been a gracious winner and never been the type to rub it in. I've done absolutely no gloating whatsoever this week but if the Bears won that game, I'd never be able to live it down. I guess that's my fault, but the point remains. I'm not going to stop liking the Packers just because "Wisconsin hates people from Illinois." Not really quite sure how you feel towards a particular team, but I've had emotional and vested interest in the Packers since I was 5. I'm not going to, all of a sudden, feel differently towards a team and just become a Bears fan.
  24. I'd say something like 90% of Packers fans in Illinois are a fan of one of the Chicago baseball teams and probably a fan of another Chicago team as well. It's not all that rare. In fact, I think every Packer fan on here that is also a Cubs fan roots for the same teams that I do. I grew up not too far away from Rockford, which is pretty split between Bears and Packers fans. The first sports team I ever liked was the Bulls. As UMFan guessed, I grew up liking the Packers because of Favre. I didn't have a real dislike for the Bears until around 2005 when all my friends who were Packer fans growing up decided to jump ship for the Bears. And yes, that really happened. Almost all of my friends in grade school were Packers fans before they became Bears fans. Bandwagon, much? I became a Cubs fan in 98 and shortly after that, I became a Hawks fan. Nothing too special about that. I should probably just put in my sig that I'm a Packers-Cubs-Bulls-Blackhawks fan. Just like how SSR is a Sox fan.
  25. And a Hawks fan. Not exactly breaking news. How long have you had that av now? Pretty close to when the dunk happened, so nearly a year.
