He's looked really good this season. He's legitimately the team's MVP this year. He made quite a few big saves yesterday when we were only up 1-0. Like you said, with the way our defense has fallen off this season, he's had to bail them out on a number of occasions.

No but as long as he keeps recruiting like this he's going to ocassionally get lucky and make deep runs like that. If you're Baylor that's pretty good. He has the #5 player in the country coming next year and the #2 player in '12 along with another top 50 kid next year. I agree that, for Baylor, talent and a lucky run every now and again are pretty good. But man, Drew is not a good coach. This year he has on his roster: Sr LaceDarius Dunn (5*, #6 SG from 2007) Jr Anthony Jones (4*, #6 SF from 2008) Jr J'Mison Morgan (5*, #3 C from 2008) So Nolan Dennis (4*, #16 SG from 2009) Fr Perry Jones III (5*, #3 C from 2010) and a several athletic role players. And he hasn't done squat with them, in a Big 12 with only 2 elite teams. Everyone else in the league is beatable, yet they'll struggle to get to .500. Sounds like Bruce Weber.

Well it was a bigger game than the Bulls game, so that makes sense. Huge two points again tonight.

Awesome. Heat are now 1-7 against the top teams in the league. I believe tonight was the first game where the Heat had a 9+ point lead at the half, and then ended up losing the game.

K.C Johnson: #Bulls offered #Grizzlies Ronnie Brewer, two 1st-round picks and one 2nd-round pick for O.J. Mayo. Can't really blame the front office for that one.

Asik comes in and the Bulls interior defense is immediately improved. Why was he only in the game for 23 seconds yesterday?

That's exactly what last night was. It was obvious in the second quarter that they didn't give a [expletive] out there and they were half-assing it. They've done that quite a bit this season against the really bad teams in the league. Usually, they get away with it because Rose bails them out. He nearly did it again last night and he would've done it again if the defensive effort was there down the stretch.

It boggles the mind how we're probably just going to stand pat with Bogans as the starting 2 guard. Again, I'm totally fine with just adding Anthony Parker. At least he can make an open jump shot.

I don't really have an issue with Thomas getting minutes over Omer, but you might as well trade him for Lee if you're not going to play him.

Before the season, sure. As the games were played, it became apparent that this team was much better than initially thought.
