That's a really dumb way to look at things Perhaps, but are you going to be excited when they pull the same song and dance the next time they take the court? The only reason they're going to make the tournament this year is because of how bad college basketball is.

Way too many. It nearly happened in last year Big Ten quarterfinal against Wisconsin too. I'm sure the first round game next Thursday or Friday will follow a similar script.

Illinois will still make the tournament, but they don't deserve to. Not with this head coach and this senior class.

I'm interrupting the discussion of good basketball to say that Chris Lowery will be retained as SIU's basketball coach for another season. New assistants will be brought in, but a once proud mid-major school continues to get more and more irrelevant by the day. [expletive] me.

Yeah, I'm to the point where I want to see the ties make a comeback over meaningful games being decided on a skills competition.

I agree, but Boozer's been pretty bad lately. Maybe some time off will do him some good, especially seeing how the injury isn't serious. The second half effort was awesome tonight. The defensive effort picked up and we're a really tough team to beat when Korver's hitting his shots.

This is why I was concerned after losing to Florida last night. Every time we've had a winning streak this year, we've quickly followed that with losing a few in a row. The eight game winning streak was nice, but in a race this tight, it's not going to matter much if we lose three in a row immediately after the winning streak.

Crawford's save percentage the last couple of weeks has been pretty bad. I really hope he's not wearing down.

At least the first unit is playing well tonight, both offensively and defensively.

It'd be nice if the Bulls tried against the bad teams. Pathetic defense early on.

On a bad Missouri Valley team. Bradley wasn't too terrible last season. I was able to work the entire MVC tournament last year and Maniscalco made All-Tourney team. He's a pretty decent shooter and at least it gives Illinois another option at the point for next season.

Most of the Bulls fans troll this thread much, much worse than SSR ever could hope to. It's like half of them turn into erik every single game. Nah, I try to be level-headed most of the time. All I ask is to look like a team that can lead the Big Ten in scoring. I don't think that's too much to ask for.

Its been ugly as hell. Couldnt ever pull away from them. I didn't really expect to pull away from them, but at least score more than 80 [expletive] points. They have more than 80! After the big win yesterday, I really didnt care how we won this game, just win it which they did. True enough, that's all I really wanted too. Can't really complain with being 44-18 after 62 games.
