Yeah, we had to depend on a 6th round rookie who didn't get his first NFL carry until December. I'll take my chances with a pretty proven RB in the league going forward, or at least splitting time with Starks. i don't know how the results are much different. the offense wasn't much better or worse without him. Our run game was obviously much worse this season compared to the last couple. again, i doubt the results are much better with he or finley. i'm sure you'd take having an experienced, successful running back over the alternative. if anything it speaks to the ability of this team to shed non-essential players seeking large contracts in the future, which they will need to do. Well it's hard to top the results that we had this season. But yeah, I agree with all of that.

So a 1200 yard rusher is somehow easily replaceable when there's no proven, capable backup behind that guy? Not buying it. Grant's one of the more underrated backs in the league.

I'm going to do everything I can to take work off on Tuesday so I can make it to Green Bay. I'll be crying like a little bitch all day if that happens. I really want to but that's not something I can do. But I know for sure I am going to find a way to buy all kinds of championship [expletive]. You are really selling him short when you say hes "a decent QB". I know some of us already had this discussion in another thread, but Ben is firmly planted in the group of QB's behind Manning and Brady. Brady won his three Super Bowls in more or less exactly the same way Roethlisberger won his two (playing usually very well and sometimes great while largely being carried by a great defense), which people seem to want to ignore sometimes. Yea I dont know wtf you are talking about because everybody kisses Bradys ass like hes the greatest ever. I'm pretty sure Andy's saying people aren't crediting Roethlisberger the way the media is praising Brady, although they have similar results.
