    I was thinking about this (for god knows what reason), but who is actually someone that is unlikable on this team to neutral observers? I can't think of anybody. Maybe Strop for the moronic baseball police crowd? I love them all.

    There's absolutely no way you can take Soler out of the lineup. I can't believe that's even somewhat of a discussion this morning.

    When you win 3 in 6 years the novelty wears off a little. I would be all jacked up for the banner raising tonight if the Cubs weren't playing in the Wild Card game at the same time. :nhl: :flythew: Yeah, it has nothing to do with the novelty wearing off. More so that there's some kinda important baseball game going on at the same time as the Hawks game.

    Not really. This whole thing feels real dirty to me. If you switched out Kane's name for somebody like David Backes, what would the majority of Hawks fans feelings be towards that? They'd be calling the guy a rapist, calling for him to be suspended, etc. But because it's one of their guys, they're looking for every excuse imaginable to continue rooting for the guy. I understand most people are going to look the other way when he scores a big goal or pulls off a ridiculous move in a shootout, but I'm not going to be able to do that.

    Last two games against the Phillies and now this one. Before that, there was the finale against the Reds. That's probably the most frustrating thing about this is the way they've lost the last three games. Just win tonight and quell the people who are panicking.

    not the best time to defend Hammel, but off the top of my head I remember him being pretty lights out for Oakland after July. I don't think that's right...I think he was better, but he was still pretty below average in August and September.

    Are you really surprised? Some of the people on there...yeesh. Giants have had their schedule ease up the last week or so, so it's not really surprising that they're winning games again.

    No more La Stella, please. I have no idea what the guy does well but I know he shouldn't be playing over Baez and Starlin. watch him go 3/4 today.

    I miss when Alcantara was a guy to somewhat be excited about. He's had himself one terrible year.

    They were decent last year, but just lost the best player in the school's history and most productive TE in all of D1. They'll be terrible this year. I wouldn't say they'll be terrible -- probably right around .500 again this year, as they always have been under Lennon. If they miss the playoffs this year, hopefully Lennon is finally canned. We did get a transfer from NIU at QB, Matt McIntosh. So we'll see how that goes. But I don't think Indiana has much to worry about on Saturday.

    Between Strop's ridiculous double fist pump vs. the White Sox and that silly marching band/high step routine yesterday, he's probably my favorite "personality" on this team. And he pissed off Bob Costas, which earns him extra points. +1 I love that man.

    Cobb is very good and Adams looked already had breakout potential. They sadly won't miss a beat. Problem is neither of those guys can afford to miss any time, otherwise, the WR group is really sketchy behind them.
