    I think this is a leverage move for GarPax. They know that while they want Wade (something something recruiting for 2017), he's not critical for them. They know Wade has an obvious draw to Chicago. They also know that Wade has used the Bulls for leverage in the past, and I'm sure they are not 100% certain if his interest is genuine. So they pretend they can't get down there and see if he is willing to come to Chicago to meet them. Actually pretty impressed if this is what really happened. I would be too -- but I think you're giving them far too much credit here.
