  1. He's made his entire career out of those four games. Outside of that, he's really not that good.
  2. To be fair, that may have just been a sex dream Bernstein had last night. Bernstein's making [expletive] up again and hoping it sticks.
  3. Ha true! I met him and Boers last fall at Bannerman's in Bartlett during one of their shows leading up to the Bears-Jets MNF game. He is every bit the jerk in person as he is on the radio. Insulting people in the audience just like he does with the callers. Although maybe the people in the audience are as stupid as his callers? He and Boers were out the door the second the show ended. I like Bernstein most of the time, but when he goes off on meatball tangents like this he's annoying. He's definitely a guy you either love or hate. I used to like the guy but ever since the debacle with Sharp and the Hawks, and constantly making up [expletive] by saying things like "my guy tells me" or "my source says," its been getting old. Not to mention he's actually starting to cite Terez Owens as an actual source now too. lol.
  4. That was so much fun. As far as first round wins go, it's tough to better that one.
  5. Gar pretty much made it be known that there would be disappointment if Rose does not return this year. If he doesn't come back, I'm totally on board with cutting him and spreading out the hit over the next five years. And if that makes me a meatball, so be it.
  6. So...when's Rose actually having the surgery?
  7. About 3-4 years too late, but thank god.
  8. Not sure how they would be able to beat Cleveland, Atlanta or Washington in the second round without Rose.
  9. Or sports fans who interact with them on the internet are unreasonably insane. Combination of both, I think.
  10. HAHA! I usually don't antagonize people on Twitter but as a dejected Bulls fan after striking out on LeBron and Wade, I mocked him for "reporting" that Wade to the Bulls was imminent. I think a lot of people mocked him and he blocked them all. Kaplan has me blocked, and I have no idea why. I didn't notice until recently. I'm sure I said something snarky to him about the Kap and Haugh ads....hehe Kaplan, Bernstein (which sucks because I actually like him), Holmes, and the Mully & Hanley show page (lol) have all blocked me.
  11. Thank the lord.
  12. Anybody but Laurence Holmes, please. They haven't mentioned an announcement upcoming or anything so far, so may be a false alarm. LoHo is committed to the 120sports.com thing right now, so I don't think that'll be the way they go. I'm hoping it's not Rozner. Yeah, that would be brutal too. He's beaten the 'McGowan' thing to death and then some.
  13. Anybody but Laurence Holmes, please.
  14. Mully and Hanley are complete garbage, especially Mully. How that guy has one of the 4 most coveted radio shows in a top 3 market is absolute insanity. Worst show on radio, but they get pretty good ratings.
  15. He's not going to be a difference maker and ultimately, he won't be the reason why the Bulls fail or succeed this year. But Thibs's handling of McDermott has been extremely frustrating the last few weeks. If he's not going to get any burn on the court in regular season games, why wouldn't you just send him to the D-League so he can at least get some playing time? And in situations like last night, when you're down by 15 in the 4th quarter, why not bring a guy off the bench who can legitimately score some points for you? Play the dude. He can't be worse than Hinrich. [expletive], most of this board can't be worse than Hinrich.
  16. He's a role player getting max money.
  17. Bernstein has become basketball meatball. He always makes the argument that you know what you get with Hinrich, and that he's a solid defender. So you look the other way when statistics prove that he's the same defender as Aaron Brooks is, minus the offense that you actually get with Brooks?
  18. The only person that seemingly won't get a shot at the rotation is McDermott. Mostly because every time he plays, including last night he runs around like a chicken with his head cut off. Hinrich basically does the same thing.
  19. That was the worst one. Burnett should've at least been able to run that back into field goal range. Also, Rodgers should've checked out of the run to Lacy on the first play after the INT when they overloaded the box with 9 defenders. If you get positive yards out of the first play from scrimmage instead of losing 4, your playcalling doesn't become as obvious on 2nd and 3rd down in that situation. It's going to take a long time to get over that. That was a Cub-like meltdown.
  20. He'd get drafted in the middle rounds for sure. He seems like a guy that would kill it at the combine too.
  21. I'm totally cool with Noah resting for 2-3 weeks or so.
  22. Saw this yesterday. I'm sure you could probably find contradicting viewpoints from himself for just about everything he says.
  23. I'm guessing teams are going to be a little turned off from offering RGIII type hauls after how that's turned out. The Steelers could be an interesting team for him, if he does fall. Big Ben is getting old and his contract is up soon. That would be perfect. From one alleged rapist to another.
  24. I think they will almost certainly get Marc Gasol. They will probably sign Jimmy Butler to a max offer too, but the Bulls will match. Not sure what else is out there, unless you believe LeBron will opt out and go to a team that currently has the worst record in the NBA because Phil Jackson and Carmelo Anthony are there. Edit: looking at the FA class there are some good targets, Aldridge, Gasol and Rondo are the "max range" unrestricted FAs available. LeBron, Love and Wade have player options, while Leonard and Butler are restricted. If you go beyond that level you get guys like Al Jefferson, Dragic, DeAndre Jordan, Milsap that might work as secondard pieces, but not really the level of players that the Knicks want to be clearing cap space for. All of the guys with player options will opt out as the cap is going to rise significantly due to the TV deal. Could you imagine if LeBron, Love, and Wade went to the Knicks? LBJ would be murdered the first time back to Cleveland if he leaves them a 2nd time, particularly after all of the "coming home" nonsense from this past offseason. I'd be willing to bet that all of the guys with player options will opt out, but LeBron and Wade won't go anywhere else. They'll just get bigger deals from Cleveland and Miami. Are people really going to be sold on playing for a mid 30's Carmelo with bad knees and no other talent around him? If Phil was actually the coach of the Knicks, that would garner more pull for FA's to go there, but he's not and he has no intention of getting behind a bench again. Although, I suppose they'll end up with a top 5 pick this upcoming offseason too but that's not exactly the most enticing situation in the world.
  25. It's going to be lovely when the Knicks strike out in free agency this summer.
