Is that true raisin? I don't follow prospects as closely as many others here but I would be surprised to hear that given the level of hype that is out there for Harper, Trout etc. If that is true are you saying that the Royals aren't as a good of a position as I would think given 25% of the top 20 are in their system? They are in a good position still because they still have the most elite prospects. I don't think there are as many elite prospects as recent years though. So, the Royals are well in that if the talent is down, they still have the best of a less than spectacular group.

I'd still like the Bulls to get a 2G, but I'm not trading Asik for one. I'd much rather give up Taj Gibson and both #1s for next year, while trying to find another Gibson next year either in the draft or as a cheap FA.

Keeper league. Would anyone do a trade of: Evan Longoria OR Hanley Ramirez for Robinson Cano and Carlos Santana? Santana can be kept against our cap of 5 keepers for 3 years (this is year 1). Edit: It is a roto league. 7 x 7 (HR, RBI, OBP, SLG, SB, K, Runs) for hitters.

March definitely comes in like a lion. @ ATL @ Orlando @ Miami vs. NO @ Charlotte vs. ATL vs. Utah Other than that, you got Thursday home vs. Miami, late March game in Atlanta, late April @ Orlando and Knicks, and mid April home vs. Boston. Miami's schedule is tough to start March also, so hopefully the Bulls can take Thursday's game, finish out Feb strong, and go at least 4-3 to start March.

I don't want to start a whole off topic discussion here, but it amazes me how much she gets away with, basically talking about giving guys erections etc 1. Who cares if Rihanna can't sing? 2. Slick. Have you not heard any songs the last 15 years? That's pretty much what all songs are about.

I thought Ibaka was robbed. I'm really not sure how the dunk from the free throw line wasn't a 50. That was still the best dunk contest since the year VC put on a show. Why doesn't the NBA just do the same thing that MLB does for the All-Star Game and have the players wear their team's jersey instead of creating a horrible, generic-looking one? MLB does generic looking ones for the HR derby. NFL does it for the Probowl also. Obviously, the point is to sell merchandise, and the NBA needs all the help it can get financially. I don't have a problem with it at all. I'm sure someone liked those jerseys.

You aren't practicing what you're preaching there, Jerry. To be fair, he does say the last "5 or 6 years". And he hasn't had a first or 2nd round pick since like 1990.

No. Wilson isn't very good. Atogwe is too expensive for a team that needs to bring in FAs at WR and at least 1 on the OL.

To expound on this, the Bulls are going to be the only team to defeat every team in the Western Conference. Boston, Atlanta and Miami were swept by Dallas, Orlando was swept by Utah, and everybody else in the East is terrible. Well, the only team in the East to do it at least. Well, technically that was what I was indicating by qualifying "every" team in the West. No West team has beaten every East team yet, either (Spurs haven't beaten Celts/Heat, Lakers haven't beaten Heat/Magic/Hawks, OKC hasn't beaten Heat/Raptors). No team in the West can EVER beat every team in the West. Because a team in the West cannot beat itself.

Not at all. The only big names available are Melo and maybe Chris Paul at some point next year. Melo would change the whole team philosophy and would take a huge adjustment by everyone. Paul isn't an option because he plays the same position as Rose. Noah can come back into the team without the rest of the guys missing a beat, because he is a role player. Just so happens he's the best role player in the NBA.

How is that the first time Rose got 40? I was watching last night and he put up 11 in the first and as he got his 10th point in the 2nd quarter, I thought to myself, "he's going to put up 40 tonight". I can't believe it was the first time he actually did it though. I think with the valuable time Thomas and Asik have gotten over the last 2 months, the Bulls can be aggressive in the next week in the trade market. I think they can afford to give up Taj if that's what it takes to add a SG to the rotation. Even if they give up a draft pick, I think they can find another PF for the rotation next year if necessary.

It's actually the first year of a new Dynasty League I joined. Basically, we took the 10 worst teams in the league and pulled names out of a hat of the order we picked each of the 10 teams. What we do is choose the team we want, and keep 5 players from that team toward our dynasty roster. It is an auction style draft/league. So, I got the Cleveland Indians. So far I got. Shin Soo Choo- OF $21 Carlos Santana- C $12 Chris Perez- RP $7 Asdrubal Cabrera- SS $3 For my 5th player, should I take Sizemore at $6 and hope he can still play baseball? Or should I go for someone like Michael Brantley for $1 who could get me some steals? Anyone on the roster is fair game, and I believe everyone else would cost me $1.

Marquez Smith has played some 2B. I don't know how he profiles there long-term, but he has played 35 games there in the minors.

What about Pay Pal? I know BBB doesn't do PayPal, but maybe someone else does and you can send that person $9 and that person can send a check for $18. Of course, I may be the only one that hasn't paid yet. Sorry, I will get it in the mail this week. My wife has the checkbook and it's near impossible for me to get to a post office (do those still exist?).

Yeah, seriously. I'd be scared as hell to have Tice as OC. With Munchak, Matthews, and Tice though, they should have a hell of an OL though. Even if those 3 gotta play themselves.
