    I'm with you....We're less than 2 weeks into the season, and I'm already getting sick of this team. Can we play more games in Milwaukee, please? We actually looked like a baseball team up north.

    Sad to say, but I tend to agree with the first part. He is a good fantasy pitcher for Ws and Ks though.

    Maybe Z can't pitch with a big league. Remember how he didn't qualify for wins on opening day the last two years despite being given huge leads in both games? I just don't know what it will take for him to take his game to the next level. He shows flashes of pure dominance, but it's mixed with head banging Alfonsucka-like innings.

    Cotts has actually looked okay so far this season, unlike Eyre, Ohman and Howry.

    Why, oh why, have I wasted 20 years with this team? Yesterday, we get the news that the guy who should be winning Cy Young's for the Cubs right now is yet again hurt, and now today our ace pitcher can't even qualify for a win when he enters the fifth with a 5-0 lead. BRUTAL!

    Man, as much as I love Z, there's just something holding him back from being a true ace, top 10 in the game pitcher. He has all the talent in the world, but the best would be cruising through today's game, not implode in the fifth and not qualify for the win. And now Ohman can't find the plate.....this team really sucks right now!

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!! Man, he should be batting leadoff every 5 days (or at least until Sori heats up). If I were his agent, I'd ask for as a pinch hitting bonus.

    What's the point of releasing Prior? He's under contract and the Cubs probably can't get anyone for him until he shows he can pitch. I'm putting him out of my thoughts until he starts pitching in games either in the minors or majors. It would put us Cubs fans out of their misery, and we could finally get on with our lives. Just wondering...If we knew Prior was going to pud out so quickly, would Hendry have come into the season with a better fifth option than Wade Miller?

    Guess I can delete this Tivo recording tonight. What a downer coming off a good weekend series in Milwaukee. How do we play this flat against a 1-5 team throwing out mediocre pitchers against us? I had wanted Hous to leave 2-7 and in an early hole.

    fixed you think the blues are ugly, did anyone see the dreadful camo with tan pants the padres wore on saturday night They are ugly to look at, but I respect why they are wearing them. My take on our unis is that the greys are about as drab as can be. I'd like to see a sleeveless variety to add some color to our roads. Also, bring back the navy blues!

    I know! Sullivan is such a tool. Given his looks, I think troll is a better description for him actually. Who wouldn't be pissed/bitter at being sent down to the minors? I'd be ticked if he just shrugged his shoulders about it.

    If we get the 2005 Dempster, I've got no problems; not one of the best closers in the game, but we could do far worse. If it's last year's edition, we are talking Alfonsucka territory.

    It's going to be fun watching this offense all season! I can't think of a better trio of Cubs hitters in my 30 years as a fan as Sori, D-Lee and A-Ram will be this season.

    Yeah, the Sox are going to outbid everyone else for Z. Gimme a break! KW and Ozzie's pride alone would prevent that from happening, not to mention Jerry's pocketbook.

    I think we unfortunately already know the answer to that question. He's had three setbacks already in camp, and I just don't see it getting any better. Why do we keep kidding ourselves that he might regain his former ability?

    I'd love it to, but at who's expense? T-Riot? Cedeno? I'm not sure we have a spot for him.

    Boy, that's the old Cubs we love to hate. Can't get the ball out of the infield with no outs.
